This product brings the video over to the TV I am using, but the color is messed up. The blues are dark purple, the blacks are light purple, and the whites are extremely light green. These colors are so weird and they hurt my eyes, i don't think you should buy this if you want proper colors.

I used it to connect my Xbox One to my computer monitor. Image quality is great. Though I couldn't get any sound from the monitor, this issue was easily resolved since I use a headset most of the time.

Works great and just as it should. Not a whole lot better than using the rca string which you still need for audio if using on a tv or the such.

Ordered an "Excellent Condition Open Box" new version of a DVI to HDMI, instead got an extremely used (scratched, marked and rattles) version of this HDMI to DVI. And they won't let me mail it back for free - I have to take more time to drive too a store to return in person during a pandemic by April 29, all for their error. The Live Chat helper can't help with anything and the phone wait is 25+ mins. This on top of losing a week of good work with my monitor waiting for this.

Bought this adapter to go from DVD player to TV. At first it worked fine, then suddenly lost picture. I returned this item and got DVI to HDMI cable. Still had no picture. The real problem was related to the Samsung DVD player, and I plan on calling tech support for info on this issue. This item may or may not work for you.

I bought this to connect my macbook to HDTV. It works, but quite overpriced for the material and simplicity of the design. It works.

bought it half price because it was an open package. Obviously someone else was not happy either. I never got the sound to work. now I know it has nothing to do with the sound and i still needed more plug ins for sound. I'm trying to eliminate wires, not add more. And there was no visible difference in picture quality. between regular non HD channels and the HD, the picture ws the same...fuzzy. very disappointing.

Like most Rocketfish accessories and adapters the price was awful. Nice looking product that will never be seen. Performance is as good as any generic $4.00 adapter.

Sony BluRay player and older Samsung HD CRT tube TV could not "see" each other using this adapter and a standard, high-quality HDMI cable. (They were previously mated happily with a dedicated HDMI-DVI cable but I gave that to my son who needed its long length.) Had to return the adapter, guess I'll need to get the cable back.

It did not work. It also destroyed my equipment. It was a very bad product.
