This is a good charger for my Kindle Fire. The battery in the kindle doesn't hold a charge for long, so this enables me to keep reading or playing on the Fire for the entire trip.

I have a note 3 by samsung, and most car chargers cannot really charge my phone, just keep it at the current battery state, but THIS one is awesome, since its made for tablets and has a better charging unit, it charges my phone FAST, might buy a few more just to have around in other cars. Very useful for when I'm traveling and want my kindle to be charged in case I stop somewhere to rest and want to read. Not really necessary for short trips as the kindle holds a charge for several days to two weeks I believed. Still worth getting so your kindle can charge while traveling.

Ok well I bought and ended up returning this because I found one in a pink color but my mom has this exact charger and she bought I at best buy and has had it fir got one a yr n a half and it still works great wires are still attached and nit separating so sturdy charger for sure

I use this little charger in the car because the usb port in my car is not really designed as a charger and takes too long.
