This cord is just like all other 3rd party cords. Seems like there is a bit of heft to the two ends, but really the enclosure are bigger than they need to be.
if you want to do off camera TTL, you can't go wrong with this.

The Rocket Fish sync cord is durable and has zero lag time and functions great at a good price.

This flash cord works well for a single flash (it does not take two flashes) off and to the side of the camera. The cord was very tight, but I stretched out carefully so as not to strain the connections. Very handy to hand hold and not depend on being activated by the on board flash.

Good off camera extender cable. It's a bit tight if you want very long extension as the cord is coiled very tightly but otherwise worth the money.

The connections are nice and it functions as advertised for remove the flash from the camera. The problem is that is says it extends to 9 feet, but the only way that will happen is if you have the 2 ends attached to a mount the is not movable. I put my light on a spare tripod and if I tried to move it more than ~2 feet from my camera it would pull the tripod over. I had to attach a 10lb weight to the tripod to get it to stay about 3-4 feet from the camera. if I tried to move it farther than that it would require weights on both tripods and prayers. Not bad for the money, but I want to find some cords to use that are longer and not coiled..

Works well with my Nikon D800. I do wish that it had a lock that would hold the camera hot-shoe end to the camera (other than the plastic screw lock thingy - that's the technical term by the way), but that is Nikon specific so not much you can do about that. There is a lock hole for the Nikon flashes, so at least that part is secure. Also, I don't recall seeing it in the pictures but there is a screw attachment that allows you to attach it to a tripod which does come in handy from time to time, however being that the coil is so tight you better weight the tripod down with something so it doesn't tip. Overall it does what it says it does, what more could you really ask of it for the price?

This is a great hot shoe extension for off the camera. The coiled cord is very, but I stretched mine out to take some of the stiffness out. Coils up nice for storage. I am glad I purchased it.

The price was so much lower than any other places I had priced it. I could not have gotten it for the price other places were asking. It works great for my need, I can get the flash to come in on to my subject at a 20% to 30% different angle to pick up a low key lighting effect I needed.

I purchased this cord as a alternate to the Nikon version hoping to save some money, most of the time it works fine, But I have noticed the slightest amount of stress at the ends where the flash or camera mount stops the flash from triggering, The same thing happens with either my SB-600 or the SB-910 Speedlight and Both the D60 or D3000 in any combination..For a cheap alternative it's a good choice just don't expect high end quality. I guess you get what you pay for.
