Perfect case for the XL

I haven't seen any other products like this for the XL except some cheap clear plastic cases. This one has a rubber finish which provides a nice grip. Totally recommended if you want a good case for your 3DS XL.

Fits into waterfield case

It has a rubber grip on the outer shell and very tough hard plastic on the inside. Including the boarder. Its a little tight inside my case i got from sfbags. The case also gives it that slight thickness. its not very thick but it feels great in my hands. Best case on the market to date.

Excellent Case and Slim and Sleek looking

He's dropped it a few times and it has held up excellently. Looks like a brand new DS. Highly recommended.

Not worth it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a case for my new 3ds xl because the default back shell was loose. This was the only case available at best buy and I thought I'd give it a shot despite it being over 2 times the price of slimmer, metal cases. Went on easy, grip was nice for a total of 2 minutes. Case still loose and back cover felt wobbly against the 3ds. Plastic latches on the pieces dug IN BETWEEN the 3ds and the blue shell. Ended up destroying the original shell of my 3ds xl on removal. Look elsewhere.

And my son wanted to use headphones but with the cover on they don't fit in so I tried to get off cover it was on very secure and the corner of the ds cracked off and it didn't protect it his ds is covered in scratches. Very poor cover wish I got the nerf one instead. Now I just have a upset son since he just got it fixed back in March for 125.00 I payed to have it fixed by Nintendo there's no where around here that I know of to fix it. Again a very poor product
