Best tool for teaching guitar and great game love it

I have been playing guitar casually for a few years, but I really wanted to change up my practice routine. This is a great tool for learning and improving playing speed. The only issue I have is that sometimes the game is too generous (i.e. it doesn't always catch your mistakes). Overall, great tool!

It's ok we're all just learning how to operate the game & electric guitar.

Bought this for my son who we bought a brand new Fender Strat for his 14th birthday. The version we bought was for PS4 and came with the cord. My son played this for about an hour. He had a great time! The following day - we couldn't get game to sync with guitar. Called company & we were told that we had to return the cord - blogs all over are saying the cord stinks! They sent us an email with form etc to return with the cord. Paper says they will determine whether or not we will get a new cord for free or have to pay $25 for a new cord !! We have been waiting over a month for the new cord - haven't gotten even an email from them! If they come back now and tell me we need to pay addl $25 for cord I will be fumed! I wish I hadn't sent it to them because I would have return the whole thing (game/cord) back to Best Buy for my money back.

This "game" (and I say that loosely because it's such a great tool) is innovative and fun in teaching someone guitar. Great tracklist, slowmo playing, specific segment replays, and informative tips really all come together to teach you little by little.

I thought this game what's going to be wonderful but turned out that there was the big time lag and the game performance. I have very fast internet so there should have been a problem. Tried to return the item but was unable to. Not happy.

I bought this game recently and i've been having a great time with it. There a lot of songs on the tracklist (wish the dlc was included) and it does improve your skills.

This game is really good. It helps me as I am trying to teach myself guitar and bass. I am learning more as I use it.

My kids and I have used this only a little bit in the time we have owned it. We have found it enjoyable but not easy to pick up.

This is a great learning tool and game all in one. If you like music and wanna learn the easy way...grab this game.

Very good game so far, be ready for finger pain first couple days if its been years since youve picked up a guitar though

Sad it did not come with both cables!!!!! Would have been worth the extra money for the audio out cable!

Rocksmith 2014 is great fun for me being that I'm just learning to play the guitar.
