Logical upgrade after upgrading from the PS3. Easy intro to basic guitar, and still provides a challenge for advanced players...

This game made me realize I need a new electric guitar so the sound goes in correctly, but dang this is a lot to keep up with! One day in and my fingers were hurting and cramping up. Wow, I really don't know anything on the guitar, but it teaches you amazingly well. Sure, not a the traditional way of learning, but this works! From a musician of over 9 years, I prefer this way of learning rather than pulling my hair giving up. I like this.

This is a fun game that teaches you how to play at different skill levels. If you enjoy playing guitar and video games this is a good game for you. The interface is good and makes sense.

Good game to play with a real guitar. It cranks up the difficulty fairly quickly though. Instructions are a little lacking at times, but overall a great way to train your fingers to play the guitar.

This game is great for anyone who is wanting to better their skill on the guitar/bass. Even if you are a seasoned vet, it can test how close you are playing to the actual record.

Great for practice for all levels but difficult to learn a song if you have been playing for awhile by ear. Overall worth the price of admission .

Has a good verity of songs. Good instructional videos and like any game you have to keep at it to progress and get better. Don't expect to master it right away.

If this game had been out instead of guitar hero, the world would have many more guitarist and good ones at that.

My grandson loves this program and his playing has improved already! I love the fact that he finally has a video game that I don't mind him playing!

At first I thought "how hard can it be?" Right, but the answer is, it will pull you off your comfortable zone and really test you. The time and beats are 100% accurate but it is all on you picking and that was a fun learning transition that humbled me. I recommend this game to all, wether you are beginning or a pro, it is fun and challenging at the same time.

I did not know this even existed. My son has not stopped playing his guitar since Christmas. He has improved his ability in just a few weeks.

I had heard about Rocksmith before, and I finally decided to give it a go. It was well worth the purchase. Only wish I had bought it sooner.

I've been using this now for about a month and I've been learning a lot. I can now play a couple songs and I'm learning basic theory.

Not easy to just pick up and learn. You will definitely play one song for hours just to learn hand placement. Muscle memory is a MUST for this.

It freezes sometimes but I'm still happy. Do your self a favor and buy a splitter (a/b) box and play with a real amp. It's the only way to go!
