I love the Rocky theme song, and the message of overcoming obstacles that this film sent.

In this fourth release of 'Rocky' on dvd, we get a few more bonus features, but nothing really worth re-buying the title for if you already own any of the previous dvd editions.

Bad High-Def Transfer

Really good movie, blemished by an over-lit high-def transfer. Yeah, the image is crystal clear, but the original 'dark' cinematography has been severely compromised in order to bring out all that definition. Why aren't DP's who were responsible for the film consulted when high-def transfers are made?

This movie has good fighting scenes but the rest isn't too impressive.

Where Is All the Bonus Material?

This Blue-Ray version of 'Rocky' shames the format presenting an 'overdone' high def transfer that compromises the original cinematography of the film, and at the same time is completely void of any and all bonus features that have graced previous standard dvd incarnations. Skip it.
