This was a really fast and easy way to connect a new TV before the cable company could come up and connect the hard wires, and we ended up keeping it for when cable is down.

This has been an incredible addition to our home entertainment system. I do have a smart TV, but it's a little older (2015) and so isn't compatible with all of the latest apps. I started looking at this when I subscribed to Disney+, as my only option at the time was to stream through a browser and cast to the TV (doable, but annoying). I wanted something permanently connected, and this has been wonderful. It's so fast and easy to set up, and has so much of my favorite streaming content in one place. The menu is easy to navigate, with very little delay between screens. I love that the remote is so simple. My four-year-old has no problem using it without help.

This is the fourth Roku stick I have purchased (all still in use on seperate T.V. 's) And I love them. I used to use Firesticks but as much as I love Amazon and prime t.v. the Roku product is easier to set up, easier to use, and last way longer without needing replacement there is also a Roku channel that I'm sure you could use from any streaming device but it's easily available on the Roku stick and it gives you free television shows to stream as long as you don't mind watching the commercials or you can pay for upgrade if you'd like commercial free

I have two of these devices for our two TV's. The first was purchased because the Bedroom TV didn't have a Spectrum cable box and accessing the Spectrum channels via their streaming app was so slow an user unfriendly. Hated it. With the Roku I use it's Spectrum app and leave it on that HDMI channel and accessing cable TV is easy and just like with a cable box. The 2nd was purchased because I couldn't install a "Hoople" app on my LG TV but could on a Roku, so it solved a problem. These devices add lots of functionality, even to a modern Internet enabled TV, they're inexpensive and there's no monthly fee. Love them!!

I bought this to keep in my van when I travel. It allows me to check into a hotel room and hook up my Roku to the hotel television and have access to all my streaming services. It is compact and works well.

Bought for my son‘s birthday. Convenient easy to use an easy to hook up. Anybody could do it!

Purchased the roku to be able to stream Peacock. Easy to hook up and stick right on the bottom of the TV. The package includes a piece of double stick tape to adhere along with a remote. Pleased with my purchase.

I received a Roku a few years ago with a cable installation. I discontinued using the cable company and still used the Roku with my new cable company. I took it with me to my sons home. Needless to say they talked me into leaving it for the spare room. Now with calif stay at home orders, I was missing my roku so I bought a new one called Roku express and I love it. It’s so easy to connect. You can’t even notice it in the tv console. I’ve Owned 2 Firesticks that have stopped working in the last 4 years. My old Roku keeps on ticking! Now my 82 year old mom wants one for her tv. FYI It’s easy enough for her to use. Love my Roku!

Has a great picture, easy to use, doesn’t lag, haven’t had a issue with it

Tried this at the office for a wall mounted tv. Since this remote does not have volume control, i would not recommend for that application. At home its plugged into my soundbar so it doesn't matter as much because i use the soundbar remote. Functionality is great and ease of setup/use is fantastic. For the price, it's really amazing!

Easy installation and compact device makes it convenient. Works well to stream channels. There are some free channels. I had trouble accessing my Netflix account but everything else worked well.

Excellent streaming device for the most popular apps. It cannot control the volume, BUT makes up saving you plenty of time providing the best picture quality. This deal is worth every penny.

I used this one to replace an old roku that stopped working. This one seems to be faster and easy to use. The only thing I miss is the volume control but thats it.

Small, inexpensive, exactly what we needed to turn the old TV in the spare bedroom into a smart TV. About $30 and we can eliminate the need for another cable box. Super easy to set up.

I gave it a 5 star because when we got it to working it was great! The TV we actually got it for we were never able to connect even with an adapter to connect it. The picture was great but we could never get sound to work. We found out at least for the equipment we had, that we needed to plug it straight into the HDMI port. Once we had ability to do that it worked fine and was a very easy set up. We tried two different adapters on two different TV and the same happened picture but no sound, we even troubleshooted all the sound issues from online. We only got sound once we plugged straight into the HDMI port. Great News is it works perfect on a projector!!!! No TV/computer needed!

These are some easy to use units as long as you tie them into the your main modem wifi address/pw. I was having issues trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect with the aftermarket modem (address/pw) that was tied into the existing service until I realized that was the problem. I see a lot of complaints on Roku's website about connection but I figure that's the same issue they were having without realizing they had to tie into the main modem. Have 6 roku expresses in our home and 0 issues.

Work great I can watch pretty much anything with it on my tv

It was easy to setup for my grandma and it runs really smooth. It has tons of newer apps which is nice.

I purchased this in addition to a new 32" "DUMB" TV for my mother-in-law for Christmas. There was no television in her bedroom and she was stuck to using her phone. The Roku is pretty easy to set up and use. This is usually under 30 bucks and is solid for that price. I would actually pick this up over their more expensive models. As something you can throw in a spare bedroom or for elderly parents, this fits the bill. The only downsides I found were: 1) the cable management is kind of annoying. The receiver is so light weight that the cables tend to move it around. It does come with double sided tape but then you have to tape it to a television. I'm not a fan of that. Invest in some command strips that wont make a mess. 2) During set-up it added a bunch of channels I really didn't want. We wanted Netflix, Disney+ and Youtube. I had to delete about 10 other channels 1 by 1 that it felt I needed on there. The pros outweigh the cons for this product. If you need something quick and cheap pick this up. If you want something more fancy choose a different brand.

We didn't know how simple it would be to stream shows and movies on our home TV before purchasing this Roku Express remote and player. We haven't had cable TV for a year and a half so were limited to DVD's from home or the public library. But the Roku service offers many free news and movie channels - including YouTube - for nothing more than the low cost of this Roku Express player and remote. All we needed was home WiFi network, a digital tv set plus an optional subscription to movie streaming for even more choices (we have Hulu). Now relaxing in the evenings in front of the TV has so much more to offer. Best Buy had a great price and curbside pick up.
