After 2 - 3 months the sound would intermittently go off. The only resolution ROKU support could offer was to restart the tv system but it was only a matter of a short time before I lost sound again. I finally got ROKU to send me a warranty replacement which I've had for a couple of months and now that's starting to do the same thing. The sound is okay when it's working but the soundbar is unreliable.

Underpowered USB port is a major issue!

Major Con— the usb port on the Streambar is EXTREMELY underpowered! You CANNOT play videos from most unpowered external hard drives —only from tiny USB thumb drives. To get videos to play from a WD passport or similar external hard drive you have to buy an externally powered USB hub. That not only costs another $20 or so but takes up additional space (and looks ugly) in front of your TV set —as well as taking up another electric plug. So if you are thinking of buying this to save space or combine functions — and you want to play stored videos through USB — then do not buy this!
