It wouldn't fit in my 24 inch flat screen TV in the spare room, the device is too large and bulky. I thought it would be slim like a flash drive for a computer. I'm still learning this device and there are some definite benefits to the free tv, lots of documentaries and kids channels. There are also many channels that cost money. The commercials are weird and repetitive on some channels. This would be a good option for those who can no longer afford costly cable tv, but you may want to think twice if you're thinking of getting rid of cable completely before trying this alternative. I do like this device rather than the box option. I would like to see the price more competitive to the Google Chrome device.

Easy to install, works great

And it works great--no problems so far and I've been using it for a while. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Every so often it would lose connectivity. My iPad and phone would stream shows and movies fine but the roku would not pick up the wifi signal. Mediocre at best.

Great for Movies save on Cable

This is now my Third Roku stick with lots of choices to watch. You can even get HBO Showtime and great games and News apps. So cut cable come down to best buy and pick you up a roku stick. Great customer service from Best Buy and Roku when I have any issiue.

Like Roku overall

Drawback with the stick is that once it falls asleep, I have to unplug it and plug it back in to wake it up again. Not sure if that's something unique to my system, but it is a little annoying. Otherwise good.
