Works with netflix and pandora. Fixed my "dumb" tv

For $50 you get 1000's of apps on and HDMI enabled TV. Basically makes a non smart TV smart. It also has a remote unlike chromecast. Granted Chromecast has some other networking and mirroring options with android and your computer. The remote was really nice for the extra $15. Both the Roku and Chromecast have the option of a remote app via Android and iPhone, but we use it in our bedroom mainly before bed or after waking up and I didn't want to have to rely on my phone or even always have it on me. Great product for price, easy to set up and a ton of things to watch and enjoy.

I have not been happy with this version of Roku. I have a Roku 2 and it works much better than this version. The stick has to be reset frequently, the remote doesn't work well with it and it buffers much more than Roku 2.

I just got this Roku to use on my flat screen TV that's not smart. It just made better sense to buy this Roku then to buy a new flat screen smart TV. Watch Netflix go on YouTube, Amazon all those things that you are able to do with Smart TV without paying the big bucks. Love it!!!

I've always wanted to buy this product as I have a 46 inch TV that is not a smart TV. I used to hook up my laptop to it so I could watch my Netflix, Youtube, etc. It's a lot of work. Now that I have Roku, watchnig movies and all that stuff is more convenient and entertaining.

The Roku was very easy to use and to set up. The remote has some issues with consistency. We are changing batteries a lot and having to "reset" it often. We downloaded to ROKU remote app and that seems to work better.

Be wise and don't sign up for all of the 'free subscriptions'. They will rear their ugly head next month on the credit card whose number Roku requires during their free setup. Luckily for me, wisdom comes with age, and we only use the stick for our Netflix subscription.

My family really loves it. We travel alot and it easy to bring with us. We can enjoy our favorite movies etc... Also installing it is simple no complications. I would recommend it highly!!!

It's easy to see why this product is selling so well. I plugged it in, signed in to the apps and was enjoying Movies in no time. This works better that the other two devices I have tried...and given away.

Great selection of channels. Easy to use. Would prefer a keyboard or number pad. High quality video. Little latency. Wish it had a web browser, well a better one.

I have the Roku 3, and I bought the streaming stick for my daughter's room. It's good when it actually works, but it freezes up every couple of days and I have to restart it. Way too much hassle. Go for the Roku 3.

This device is awesome, thanks TWC for making channel lineup available. I enjoy being able to access Netflix, Hulu, & TWC from one device, great space saver! Super easy to install and use.

This little contraption is amazing! Now have purchased multiple as gifts because it is just too cool. Great choice of channels, have not had a single problem logging in or using this device. Love that we can use our phones as a remote even! Consider this device for your Netflix / Hulu / viewing pleasure.

Already have a Roku box, so we bought this Roku stick for another TV in the house. The install process was annoying and frustrating and very long - way longer than expected - with Roku, otherwise the product is good, easy to stream and watch Hulu Plus, Crackle, Netflix, etc.

I primarily use my Roku to watch Netflix. I also have a Roku 3 box and I have noticed the UI on the streaming stick is not as quick or smooth as the UI on the Roku 3. However, once I start watching something I have had no issues with the streaming speed or quality.

I have used my Roku to watch streaming videos, but my absolute favorite thing is listening to Rdio music, which I will definitely subscribe to when my free 2-month trial ends. I can listen to everything from Bach to Sting to Doc Watson and am discovering so many artists. The Roku streaming stick is a great deal.

Set-up was easy and quick. I would prefer not having to enter a credit card number in order to complete the set-up. Movies play great with no buffering. Movies played straight from the smart TV buffer and are almost impossible to watch - the Roku has solved the problem!
