I am very happy with my roku streaming device, I can easily mirror anything off of my cell phone on to the tv, and I have access to hulu, netflix, etc. I do not miss having cable at all.

Perfect if you don't own a smart tv. If you are just looking to stream the basics (netflix, pandora, hulu and others) this is perfect for you!

So far so good. Works very well. Install was easy. Had to set up an account with Roku though, so not exactly plug and play.

I love this product, would recommend it to anyone! Great for watching hulu and netflix, I'm so glad I don't have to use my computer to watch my shows anymore. Easy to set up and use.

I really like the Roku. I already had one in one of my bedrooms and decided to get another one for one of the other bedrooms. The choices that you have with Roku are great. I am able to see options that are not available with regular cable.

I liked the price of this product along with the selection of channels. I particularly like the Channel store where you can add channels - both free and paid. I also like being able to access Pandora through this device. Since it is WiFi only, the stream sometimes stops while the picture is rendering. If your internet connection is fast enough with adequate bandwidth, this should not be a problem. If your internet connection is slow, go with a box that can be hardwired to the internet - Roku 3 or Apple TV. I also own an Apple TV, which is my primary box, but for price and performance, the Roku stick is a great purchase. I use it on a 2nd TV.

I have 2 DLNA servers and when combined with Roku and Plex, I have the ultimate media setup. I have 2 of these and I love them! Not sure what the real benefit to getting the 2 or 3 is, because I wanted the content on my servers, not the content the Roku offers. I HIGHLY recommend!

As someone who already owns a Roku2, I expected to get a Roku light.. Great product. All the power of the Roku with a tiny form factor. Highly recommend this over the ChomeCast!

We bought this Roku device after cutting our expensive TV service. The streaming sticks works great and never stalls out while watching a program or movie. Tons of channels and shows to watch when nothing good is on the local broadcasted channels. However, for those who have never used a streamer before, I will say it is a little different then just "flipping on the Tele", but well worth it as an alternative to expensive service. Would also be a great way to add more channels to your existing cable service line up and could be used for traveling where free wifi is offered in your hotel / condo. I can only see this getting better in time.

This product turned out to be exactly what I needed. Many thanks to the employee that helped me. I explained what my need was and the product he recommended was a perfect solution. He explained the difference of the various products and recommended this one. He was right on.

The Roku stick device is great I own three Roku devices including a Roku three but the new Roku stick has a new remote which is awful it sticks in any direction that click The center button. Click it once and it continues to run on. I have no problems with the previous remotes

Works well so far. Just plug it in connect to wifi and stream. I would have given a 5 but It should have an on-off switch and I didn't like having to use a credit card to register with Roku

If you don't have a smart tv. I feel like Roku is the way to go. A lot of people like the chromecast but unless you have an android you can't use all of its functions so for an extra $15 bucks the Roku is a stand alone device that doesn't need a cell phone or tablet to control it.

THE ROKU IS EASY TO SET UP. THE HARDEST PART IS SIGNING UP FOR THE INDIVIDUAL CHANNELS THAT NEED A PASSWORD. I STILL HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT ALL THE CHANNELS YET BUT THERE ARE DEFINITELY A LOT OF MUSIC, MOVIES AND ALMOST ANYTHING YOU WANT TO STREAM.

Returned one of my cable box in the bedroom and replaced it with HDTV antenna and Roku streaming stick. So far I'm enjoying it with free Netflix. I'll be buying another one for the living room when my contract with Cable expires in February.

This was great, easy set up and easy to use. Bought it to use in a bed room for the grand kids . It keeps them happy and I don't have to rent another box from the cable company.

I bought this as a gift for someone. I have an older Roku and it has performed well. Minimal set-up required. That said, registering channels (Pandora, Netflix, etc) is kind of time-consuming. Not hard though. I recommend this if you don't need any bells and whistles...

I have a Roku2 on an older TV downstairs. I got this for my smaller upstairs TV. I'm very happy with this, install was simple plug and play, and setting up a second Roku on an existing account was easy enough simply following the directions.

I've been looking for a way to get some of my streaming applications on my TV upstairs, and this does it all! I am very happy with how easy it was to set up and interact with.

I bought an Insignia 65" HDTV, and looked into the Roku stick as it was advertised on the Box when I purchased the TV. I already own an Apple TV, and a PS3 which both work well for streaming Netflix. The HDMI stick requires power, and the connector coming out of the stick makes for an awkward fit on the 65" HDTV model. The good thing about the stick, is the portability. The remote is horrible, so I recommend downloading the free phone app to control it. I was asked to give a credit card number even though I was only planning on using Netflix and Amazon Prime which I've already paid for elsewhere. I am most upset that they charged my credit card anyways. With the purchase of the HDMI stick, I was given some offers for a month free or more for certain stations. Most of the free movie offers are for movies that are barely worthy of being on premium cable stations. There are now other companies coming out with HDMI sticks, and I don't see Roku being a threat to any of the new companies, as long as their offers are not outdated. Look elswhere.
