I have 2 of these and they are great. The stick stays hidden behind the TV and if you have USB inputs built into your tv, you can use them to power the Roku stick without the need of the power adapter. The Roku stick does not have to be line of sight in order for the remote to function. The only draw back is that the Roku stick is a bit slower compared to the other Roku players and it does not have the option of connecting a USB device or SD card to it. Other than that, this is a great portable streaming device.

Purchased the item,however, had 2 days of problems. Finally Customer Service told me to return it and get a replacement. I did and it worked perfectly. Customer Service was patient and very informative.

I think the best feature is the remote control option, and after that the list of apps with the functionality that I don't know if it's only for Roku but is different than in the others streaming players like Vizio and Chromecast

Great device for streaming, very easy to use,so reliable,economic and offers a wide variety of channels to see as well as movies and series also, i hope to get latter the roku model 3 and see wath happens, for sure gonna be awosome

Easy, and makes any TV a smart TV with only 10 minutes set up. Can also get the remote on your phone so you can mess with the wife from another room or city by fast forwarding through her Buffy reruns.

I bought this so I could use it in hotel rooms while traveling. It works very well and I have been able to use it during all my stays. I am happy with it.

I like the product, but the remote doesnt work that well. I also get a little annoyed with the limited selection of free program channels & apps. All-in-all, its a good product.

This is our 2nd Roku device and we love them. We already had a 3 and then needed one for another TV. The stick is convenient, works great and was on sale.

The Roku Stick does what it was intended for. The only thing keeping it from earning 5 stars are two things; 1. I could not find a way to turn it off. 2. It is sometimes slow, and lags a bit when responding to remote inputs.

I think this was a good buy. If your trying to get away from the high expensive cable, and satellite tv, this is the way to do it. You can purchase the channel you want to watch, and not a bunch of stuff that you do not want.

Instead of buying a smart TV, I bought one for about $100 less and got a Roku stick. Easy to set up, I was instantly watching Netflix and signed up for one of the many free trials that was available. Much better alternative to cable! Very happy with this purchase.

I love the wireless aspect, but my hard-wired one is way more responsive. this one tends to lag between screens, and while beginning to stream. Once it is streaming, it is fine, it's just getting to that point that it lags.

I can easily switch from my direct tv to my more healthy jw.org spiritual food I have watched some free old tv shows and movies too. as soon as my direct tv contract expires it is ROKU all the way. Will save lots of money, my son said it is easy to install.

Brought this for my son because cable is too expensive and this was a great alternative. Tons of channels for him to choose from. Would definitely buy/recommend.

Daughter had been using laptop to view Netflix; Roku stick much easier to use and better quality. Device has been as advertised, and cost less than "box"

It took a while to set up the roku. I didn't realize that I was going to have to create and account. The worst part is the personal info they want like cc info. I just wanted to use free apps on my tv not sign up for more stuff.

So I really like the roku stick. What I don't like is that it has to be plugged into a power source. If your tv doesn't have a way to power the stick it may be frustrating to you. Also the streaming can be pretty fuzzy at times.

I like the compact size of the stick. Currently I seem to be having some trouble but it would be the internet connection. Great price compared to the Rocu 3 which I have as well.

I bought this for our second tv after trying out a few other streaming devices and absolutely love it. We have had a Roku 3 for our main TV and I should have listened to my gut instincts and gone with the Stick for our second TV to begin with. After trying an Amazon Fire TV and a short stint with a Playstation TV, I went with a Roku Streaming Stick and haven't looked back. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was the addition of the headphone jack on the remote.

roku stick works well with comcast after a learning curve for this over 60 gent. It gives me the channels I wanted most without commercial pop-ups. I'm more than pleased with the item and the results.
