Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is I have the Roku 3 on my primary TV and this stick is a smidgen slower but otherwise if I had nothing to compare it to it would be a 5. All the same features as the Roku 3 at 1/2 the cost.

The tv channels are what make this thing worth it. Most entertainment devices now have the typical apps like Netflix and Hulu, but they don't get the multitude of channels you can get with this stick. The interface is easy to use, the setup is simple, and the loads times are good. The only issue I have, and it isn't even much of one, is that I wish it could do more than be just an "app device". I would like to see it eventually have a Web browser, but that is about it.

I bought the Roku streaming stick so I could watch the Chicago Cubs vs St. Louis Cardinals on TBS through SlingTV. We don't have cable so this is a much cheaper choice. We may not get several hundred channels, but we wouldn't watch most of them anyway.

The roku stick is small and economical. Love the fact it don't take up a lot of space, easy to install and watch just connect to the TV and pick your channels

Works well most of the time. YouTube app crashes often and roku says it's not their fault. It takes a little while to do the initial set up and input your credit card info.

Roku is great. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Lots of free channels. Simple interface a child or a senior or any in between can understand and operate.

This is not the first Roku I have owned. The last one was Roku 2, which started to give me problems after 3 years, so I bought this HDMI stick. I love it. easy navigation, one touch button for Netflix and super fast speed. Highly recomend the product to anyone.

Wanted something small to add the options of streaming video to my kitchen tv. This fit my needs and has been working well.

I was looking to get Netflix on my TV and now I have Netflix and many more options. Only bad part the remote keys were "stuck" on the first remote so I had to return that one for another, but no problem.he first one

Although this model is a little slow, it is great. I'm a huge fan of the Roku 3, but for the price you can't beat a Roku Stick. Love it. Best bang for the buck on the market. I will only buy Roku. Forget the others.

This is a perfect complement for a 32inch 1080p TV for a spare bedroom. It has all the apps that I need and want to stream. Was wanting an apple TV to use with all my apple products but this works very well and has th option to stream more apps.

I love the size and functionality of the Roku Stick. You can't beat the channel selection. Unfortunately the remote can struggle to connect and response time can be laggy.

The stick seems like a convenience, but if the HDMI connection is not in a convenient spot on your TV (like ours is in the back of a big set that we wouldn't be moving) so the portability of the stick is of zero value.

purchased several of these units to get off cable. Needless to say they claim you get 100's of free channels but they are generally old stuff. You're still going to have to purchase Netflix or another service to get any decent content. Two problems I've experienced are that if you have a problem with wireless signal, your Roku goes out of course. Secondly I have found the remotes to be weak.(poor signal and response, and not very well built- battery cradle doesn't keep the contacts properly made.

Were originally were going to go with the chromecast but after weighing the benefits for our use we chose the roku because we didn't have to have our phone for use all the time. We have been very pleased with the purchase

I bought 2 of this item . One for each TV. I hate TV because of all the garbage so I am cancelling my Dish . and thought this would fill all the need I had to watch any kind of programing. I took me half a day with someone from ROKU to get 1 of the TV set up I haven't gotten the other one set up yet. I haven't used the one I hooked up. because it is easier to just watch it on my computer. And I didn't realize you have to join and most of the time pay a monthly fee to watch something worth while. But some time in the future I well have them both working to watch. I am an old man who hates all this technologies..

I was looking for a streaming stick to use on my TV when I want to watch TV outside (Football Season) and the Roku was the best one for features and price. I have the Roku 3 and like the user interface so it was a no brainer to purchase this one.

Excellent casting product, I use for Netflix, YouTube, and every program online to see movies and series, can use with some games, mirror smartphone screen on TV it's the best, I play my games on TV with HD resolution, definitely the best casting one

It's so nice to have this device we actually use it instead of a full blown blue ray system since we now buy pretty much all our movies and shows on the apps like amazon instant video or cinemanow. There is so much content on the roku it's great!!

It was easy to seup. I was up and running in 10 minutes. I bought it to watch international programming and by signing up with one of the content providers, I was able to watch the international news, programs from Southeast Asia with minimal fuss.
