I had to buy another Roku because the remote wouldn't work on my first one, it was very frustrating. When the Roku works, its great, but when it doesn't its annoying.

We went for the cheapest Roku option, and it works exactly as we had hoped. Simple, easy to use, and have had no problems so far.

This is one of the best, if not, the best video streaming stick on the market. Better than average build quality, with a world class, simple, easy-to-use interface, Roku knocked it out of the park with this product.

I got this because I wanted a smart TV without the cost of one. This is great! My only complaint was that I had to refresh the connection once, because the controller was not connected. It's a small issue. It's great!

I can't believe how easy it is to use the Roku streaming stick. Set up was a breeze as it could run off the USB port on my TV. Super simple and works great

I have been very impressed with the streaming stick. I eventually use the incl. cord to get power from an outlet so it stayed on all the time. By doing so you can leave the ROKU queued up if you switch to another video source to watch something else.

I'm not sure which kind of stream gadget to buy, but finally I choose "Roku". And you known, I ran to call my cable provider carrier and quit HBO tier. Jejejeje

I really like the Roku we bought we watch mostly streaming tv, and our little tv wasn't smart so with Roku we are enjoying these shows better, before I bought the Asus cube but was highly dissapointed. With Roku is nothing but good things.

Thought this would be difficult to connect but did it first time np. I did have to move my wi fi access point / router to accessible place outside of a cabinet it was in to ensure internet connection on first try. All works great np after that!

This is the second Roku in my household. I bought it for my daughter and she loves it. Mainly the advantage that if you can't find the remote, you can use your smart phone after downloading.the Roku application.

Much better concept and platform than the Chromecast. Takes up a lot less space than your traditional streaming boxes and has the ability to not need a power outlet. Just make sure your tv or a/v receiver has a USB input. If wanted, could take the place of a cable box in a child's room, workout room, bedroom, etc. where you don't want to pay the additional monthly costs associated with extra cable boxes.

2 weeks in and the remote was done. Tried rebooting, new batteries, activating over and over nothing works. Gone to app on adroid phone, but would prefer a remote.

We purchased this so we could watch Hulu and Netflix instead of paying so much for Dish. My monthly TV bill is a Hulu subscription of $8.99 a month!! Love the savings!! Going to buy a Roku 3 for the living room!!

Was looking for an alternate TV source, because DirectTv is getting quite expensive. so far the Roku is working great, with all sorts of TV and movie channels. Will be purchasing more for the rest of our TVs.

Pros: fantastic user interface, very responsive controls, and ridiculous amount of streaming services/channels. Cons: Stick version can be slow at times, downloading new channels. I regret not getting the Roku 3 with the extra processing power.

The product itself works great, but to set up an account with ROKU they require a credit card.... Just in case you ever want to buy anything. I don't like that!

my daughter damaged my remote for my original Roku stick, so I bought another stick with remote since I couldn't just find a remote or get it replaced. Somehow I can use the one remote on both sticks so yay

I bought this as a gift and he reciever likes it. He uses the exercise channel as well as some of the free channels. Not sure how it compares to other streaming sticks, but this one does everything he needs it to.

Our family loves this, we only have basic cable so we subscribe to netflix. I got a roku stick for our bedroom tv, we loved it and got one for my daughters tv, we will be buying one for the kitchen and dinning room tv in the next couple weeks!
