I had the chromecast and returned it as I wanted to stream into my garage area, but didn't want a laptop or smartphone to have stay out there to run the device. The remote is handy and interface is great!

I did not know what to expect really when I bought this. We don't watch much TV. I did not want a smart TV, won't own one ever so this worked out to be just what we needed. There are already far too many ways that the Regime can access our private lives and I do not need my television to be another door that can be kicked in silently. This device can be unplugged easily enough when not being used.

I have been using this for about a month now and love it! I mainly only use it for Netflix, but my kids use it for other channels and we are all enjoying it. Well worth it.

For a first time user of internet watching on a tv, this was an easy thing to set up.

I was deciding between a Apple TV or the roku and the roku turned out to be better and cheaper for us the only thing I could complain about is I did have to reset it a few times the first week I had it.

I travel for work and spend about 20 nights a month in hotel rooms. This allows me to have all my Roku content when I am at the hotels. Works great, plugs right into HDMI and power from USB and I am up and running in hotels. Will not log into hotel wireless networks that require a password by itself, so I also have a small travel router, or tether to my phone to make the connection. I wish they had come up with a small remote like the Apple TV to go with this more portable device.

Got rid of the monster comcast and went with Roku and the family loves it! The only thing I wish is that we would be able to get a few local channels.

Just about any body can set this thing up. Has everything I needed. The only thing I don't like is that it can't power off.

I recently purchased a Roku Smart TV and have been using Roku a lot. When I saw this, I saw an opportunity to give the capability of Roku to my mom on her not-smart TV. I have been pleasantly surprised by its ability to stream with minimal lag. It also has a remote that is not infrared based, so it is very responsive regardless of where you point it. The fact that it was under $50 was icing on the cake.

When we moved recently we decided to break the ties with the big cable providers and just go with a digital antennae for local TV access (local weather, etc) and then use ROKU to watch the other things that we enjoy. We were spending WAY too much money before for the few things that we really watched and enjoy, Anyway, Roku is simple to install and use. Will never go back to cable...

The streaming stick is an excellent alternative to the Roku 3. Doesn't have all the feature or channels of the pricier version, but is extremely easy to use and has all of the important basic features.

This a good device. It does take a little time to load up on occasions, but overall a good and inexpensive way to convert your TV.

I have a google chromecast that I have been using for a year or so now. This is much easier and less delay

THIS MOVIE WAS A GREAT GIRL NIGHT ROMANCE. IT WAS A MODERN REMAKE OF A CLASSIC. MY FAVORITE TYPE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ALL WOMEN WHO HAVE A FLARE FOR ROMANCE.

Works fine, no problem with the remote as others have had. It's my 2nd Roku. I prefer the screen layout on the earlier model. Maybe it's just a matter of getting use to it.

My Smart TV WiFi stopped working and I lost all my Apps. Instead of buying a new TV, it was cheaper to buy a Roku Streaming Stick. Now my TV is even better than it was before for a small price!

I wanted to watch Longmire which went from A&E to Netflix. My sole reason for getting it. An excellent solution to my problem for a small price and I can get a whole lot of other shows. Perfect!

LOVE my Roku stick - all the shows I love, on my schedule and with NO commercials!! My only dissatisfaction is with Best Buy, because they sold an OLDER version to me instead of the new version :-(

I Have fallen in Love with my Roku's, yes you read it right I have one for every TV in my house. I bought this for a friend it allows us to watch JW BROADCASTING, A sensational Family Channel. Enjoy!
