This is my 4th Roku device. I have tried other streaming platforms, Apple TV and google based platforms but I keep coming back to Roku and have a device on all of my TV's. I knew it wouldn't work with my Logitech remote because the device is tucked away in the HDMI slot and not in the remotes line of sight. The Roku uses infrared signals. Roku doesn't work well with the finer points of a universal remote for switching between shows on Netflix or Amazon, it tends to skip over every other shot tile in the Netflix or Amazon cue. I use the Roku remote for choosing a selection on all my TV's and I"m OK with that. The one thing I was surprised by was that the Roku stick still needs a power supply to plug into the stick. It doesn't bother me i just thought that it operated more like a USB stick from all of the pictures and advertising. It does eliminate the need for an HDMI cable and it's hidden so all you have to do is hide the power supply and it streams extremely well just like all of my other Roku devices.

I enjoyed this, however I returned it, because I purchased the Apple TV instead. Everyone in my family has an Apple device.

Overall positive experience. Input and launching some channels is slow but very good content selection and channel variety.

I got this device to get TV in a room that I was not able to get cable to. It works great and provides good streaming video.

Inexpensive, easy to install and quality of Netflix picture is excellent

I have been using Roku for over a year. I have 2 Roku 1, 1 Roku 2 and 2 Roku 3. All connect easily to WiFi so I can use Netflix or Hulu or stream music.

purchased this for my daughter who's a freshman in college do that she'd be able to watch her favorite shows. she loves it

I have an apple TV and this is a nice addition. Very cost effective. i bought it because my Apple TV does not have an app for Amazon Prime movies.

I have two other Roku devices. This is my third. Program choices are excellent and many are free. I subscribe to Acorn TV and highly recommend it!

The Roku streaming stick was very easy to setup with my Netflix account. The remote was simple to use also.

This works for streaming Netflix on my tv, what I wanted. Sometimes it lags and acts slow, but for the most part it works well.

I recently cancelled my cable and needed a streamer to watch Hulu and Netflix with. This was purchased for our second tv and is perfect, it plugs in the back so you do not have to have an extra box on your entertainment center. Picture is clear and comes with a ton of free channels. I would buy this again.

This was very easy to install. I even got online help. I am glad they made it so it is like a USB thing.

Some times drop signal and stops responding to command takes some time to work properly

I was surprised that it wasn't a little more intuitive, but it is pretty easy to navigate.

At first I wasn't going to buy it and just get the Apple TV since I have the iPhone 6 plus . But I decide to buy this and it was the best money spent!
