Roku Doesn't Live Up to the Hype

The main reason I got Roku was to stream Netflix. However, the Roku randomly freezes so Netflix will get really pixelated for a while, sometimes until the end of the episode or movie you're watching. Secondly, the remote only works when it wants to, about 80% of the time it doesn't work at all. My boyfriend told me it's because it's blue tooth so this will happen, but it would have been nice if someone would have warned me that at the store since I did ask two different associates for advice about Roku. Thirdly, Roku after a few days of use, takes a really long time to load when you first turn it on. Longer than a Del running Windows 98. And lastly, this item is wayyy overpriced for what it is to begin with, but the fact that you need a credit card to even use it after you get home, is complete garbage. Overall, this is a terrible product! I'm really disappointed that I did a lot of research before buying this product and did not find information about any of these issues.

Roku is great in size and power.

You dont have to actually use an outlet to power the stick. You can power it using the usb port on your tv. Sometimes it does have a lil slow speed. For the price and the amount of apps this is the best option. It does help eliminate the amount of space other players take up.
