This was a gift along with a TV ... they were cutting the cable cord and were very happy with the streaming process.

Very easy to use. Great viewing options. I am tempted to say good-bye to cable.

During the holidays I thought is was a good idea to upgrade my TV with a steaming media player. The only one available was the Roku Stick at the time so I bought it. Once I set it up it, I was able to watch anything I wanted or missed out on watching in the past. I did not care for the appearance and it broke when I did a reset to original settings.

After installing there's access to so many types of programming. Very pleased.

I purchased this Roku to be able to watch Netflix, the set up takes a little Bit of time and one day out of the blue it just got out of the config so we have to do it all over again, going to factory settings. Compared to the Apple TV is slower and the way the shows are distributed is not as appealing but, the price is half, and it works fine.

The remote has a delay. But set-up was easy, & easy to use.

I bought my first on back in Dec[2014] it lasted till last week [last wk in July 2015]. I have purchased two others, one in April 2015 and one in June 2015 for family members. Those two are still working [fingers crossed]. I started having problems with the first one 3 to 4 months in. I have had to deal with customer service on to many occasion. You will start with a 25 to 40 minute wait on hold if you call, then you will be lucky if you are able to successfully communicate with the rep in India. If you should want to try online chat, good luck! The last time I was 23rd in line. Roku did agree to replace my Roku 3500 but wanted me to pay shipping. It took several request to talk with a supervisor and a lot of explaining and requesting to receive a RMA with shipping. Still waiting for the replacement and fingers crossed for the other two to keep working. Bottom line 'When it works it is Great' if you need customer service then my sympathy is with you..

Nothing beats any of the ROKU prducts. It has crazy channels and it gets updates all the time definetly worth the price

So far I enjoy the uses that come with Roku. Casting and the apps are great. They also link well with premium channels.

Best time to purchase during Black Friday good for those who do not have cable or satellite.

The main reason I got this was to watch Netflix on my tv. Works great. My kids like the YouTube app on the Roku also.

I bought this for my in laws and it is easy for them to use. Roku always produce good products

With my increasing interest in "cutting the cord" and having enough of paying out the wazoo for cable each month that I didn't have too much to enjoy, I wanted to find an alternative since I have Netflix, Hulu (recently), YouTube and a BUNCH of DVDs. My brother told me about this streaming stick, easy to install and easy to use. I gave it a shot and after trying over the course of two days, I couldn't get past the opening screen because my streaming stick could not see my remote. Even after pressing the reset button and trying new batteries (and trying it on two other TVs) it wouldn't cooperate. I ended up returning it and going with the 4th gen Apple TV. Maybe one day I may give it or another streaming stick a try but for now, thanks but no thanks.
