With my increasing interest in "cutting the cord" and having enough of paying out the wazoo for cable each month that I didn't have too much to enjoy, I wanted to find an alternative since I have Netflix, Hulu (recently), YouTube and a BUNCH of DVDs. My brother told me about this streaming stick, easy to install and easy to use. I gave it a shot and after trying over the course of two days, I couldn't get past the opening screen because my streaming stick could not see my remote. Even after pressing the reset button and trying new batteries (and trying it on two other TVs) it wouldn't cooperate. I ended up returning it and going with the 4th gen Apple TV. Maybe one day I may give it or another streaming stick a try but for now, thanks but no thanks.

I bought this Roku Stick so I could more easily stream movies and TV shows on my big screen TV. Prior I was using my laptop and an HDMI cable. This device makes it so much easier.

Easy to hook up and get set up. Bought for our son's room and he is easily able to navigate through the screens.

Great-- am a fan of british tv and purchased these to get acorn tv, am Amazon prime - whole lot new shows to enjoy.

It took just a couple of minutes to set up. Without instruction, our 10 year old started using it and hasn't stopped!

Having a remote is handier than having to use a smart phone to control it

Loved watching Netflix and wwe network on it and YouTube

I would recommend everyone to get this item love it :).

It seems awful slow compared to using netflix and hulu on my PS3.

Bought this for my wife at Christmas and the whole family uses it. We watch Netflix and its HD quality even with wifi!

Bought this as a gift for my parents (in their 60s) to save them lots of trips to the video store and it gets the job done well. The setup is easy, but takes some time. Hbo go took a few tries but once up and running they were able to use and navigate with ease, and really enjoy it.

This device is great for those that have a limited cable subscription but still want to watch their favorite tv shows.

i already own a rokutv but figured i would try this for an older tv set... my daughter loves it and she only watches her kid shows on netflix... she loves that she can choose what she wants to watch when she wants to watch... i'm actually purchasing two more as gifts

After purchasing the Roku LT a few years prior I figured the streaming stick would be a great house warming gift.

I am very satisfied with this product. So glad I bought, now I do not have to buy a smart tv.

The set up of this device is overly complicated: why do they have to put hurdles in your way?

We bought these as customer gifts for xmas, and they loved them. We liked that they had a remote and offered so much.

Ihook it up to my tv ,no need for cable or satelite ,watch netflix ,youtube and many free channels that you will enjoy !

It works well. It is fast enough on my home network, and did not appear to have much lag.

I think it's very helpful when your cable goes off.
