Works as expected. Had a tv that wasn't wireless and didn't want to buy an expensive blue ray for this tv. Looking to eventually get rid of expensive tv services.

This Roku stick was bought to replace the smart blu-ray we were using and I couldn't be happier. More apps to choose from, quicker response times and no glitches.

I really like m new Roku. It works great with my hulu and Netflix. It gives me the ability to watch my favorite shows on my television instead of my computer or smart phone.

The roku streaming stick has full functionality seen in most set top boxes. Setup was simple and available channels extensive. Cut the cable cord with this device!

I purchased other three similar items but didn't keep this one . Was not themost easy-to-use or easy to set up! It request credit card without finish to set up and too many downloads

I bought this initially for the launch of SLING from Dish. It was ok for choosing apps, and ok as far as plugging in; It felt like metalic HDMI part might break at any point. That said, the main purpose, to run SLING, it just didnt have the horse power. Maybe the SLING app wasn't optimized, but I bought an Amazon Fire TV and an Amazon Stick, other than seeing some more amazon stuff they are leaps and bounds better. SLING is seamless, these are snappy, and KODI is pretty sweet :) IMO The ROKU is ok, but Amazon is better. Amazon > ROKU = Summary

It was good, but it was terrible in streaming media from device. I returned this for a chromecast and was very happy with my choice. It perfectly streams media from my computer and phone.

I won't allow my son to have cable in his room and this ended up being the perfect substitute for him. I have it set for his profile on the nextflix account and its AWESOME.

The roku is great for watching movies on Netflix for those of us without a smart tv.. There are also a lot of other channels that can be watched. Overall, I think its great!!

The hdmi port on the roku is unstable. I tried plugging into several hdmi ports on the tv. If you pull it out slightly the roku logo will appear and jump around for about 30 seconds. Once the menu loads and a movie starts the connection is constantly dropped. Sometimes the logo never appears and the screen says no video signal. Returning for another model.

Control remote lost signal. If you have smartphone download roku remote. Sometimes loading take forever. Delete and add channels again.

I have had a Roku 3 for almost a year and have been very satisfied with it. I was considering purchasing a Chromecast for my bedroom as I did not want to spend $90 on another Roku 3. I saw this was being released and thought it would be worth the wait. Completely wrong! I opened it and immediately noticed it was missing a piece that I find essential to a product designed to be stuck in an HDMI port; the HDMI extender or dongle. I was thus not able to plug into the tv in my bedroom due to lack of space for the stick. I had to order a dongle off amazon and invested another five dollars in this product. Once that was resolved, the speed became an issue. I expected it to not be as fast as the Roku 3 for obvious reasons but this thing is horrible. It takes what seems like forever for the thing to boot up. Once it does there is a huge lag in just using the remote to navigate. I would guess one to two seconds for each action. Forget loading Netflix, Plex, HuluPlus, etc.., add a minimum thirty second wait time. Last but not least, if the lack of speed was not enough to turn you away, throw into the mix the fact that the device itself freezes and reboots all the time! My Roku 3 does this maybe once a week when I have been using it for a while but the stick will sometimes freeze and reboot five times in a thirty minute swing. I love my Roku three and hope that Roku releases a firmware update to correct the freezing issue and then I can overlook the slowness. Until then look elsewhere.

I have both the Amazon Firestick and Roku sticks. I like the ease of use of the Roku. It’s more of a stable platform to use in my opinion.

Updated to the Roku stick in April. Had two original boxes. Best purchase Could have made in a long time. Easy setup, easy to use. Great buy. Big fan of Roku

Enjoy the new Roku streaming stick - so much easier and doesn't heat up like the old box used to! Still gives great content and of course coupons for new users.

I purchased this for my daughter to use in her college for, It's easy to set up and portable so she can bring it home or watch in others rooms.

looking to do a few apps on bedroom tv...does all the apps i need it to do. a little slower than the roku 3 but all in all good product

I have Apple TV 2 Samsung smart DVD players and now this, granted it doesn't have the bells n whistles like some of the other products but for the price it's well worth it

This was extremely easy to set up and start using after updated software was downloaded. Has many more channels than I expected and is a great supplement to basic cable.
