Great Roku Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the original Roku years ago and loved it. I then purchased the Roku2 about a year later. My biggest complaint with the Roku2 was that it would over-heat and reboot during the middle of streaming a movie. It, just like the original Roku, was constantly powered on. There was no off switch. Since the Roku Streaming Stick gets its power from the HDMI or USB port on the TV, it is only powered on while the TV is powered on. I have had no issues with the Roku Streaming Stick over-heating or rebooting.

A smart tv for a fraction of the price.

I put one of these in my garage because I didn't have room or an extra outlet for another box. Now I can watch just about anything, or stream pandora well working on the car or the bike. Who needs cable anymore, and who needs an extra dust collecting, energy wasting box sitting on the shelf.
