Great streaming device

It's great to be able to integrate your smartphone or tablet if you want to stream music, photos or videos. The service offers a lot of great channels! It turned my older tv into a great smart tv. Highly recommended!

The remote doesn't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a tortuous setup, roku finally worked BUT the Roku remote control only worked once so now I have to use the primitive tablet version, which I really don't like! I went online afterwards and read how the roku remotes don't work at all or are sporadic such that you have to buy another one or use the tablet version. Also the screen For ROKU is very hard to manipulate and to log off from.

It's an inexpensive streaming tool

Also, the stick plugs in on the back of my TV and the remote doesn't always make contact with the stick. It's super frustrating when I hit pause, stop, home, rewind and nothing happens. Sometimes I have to take the batteries out of the remote and put them back in to make a connection.

doesn't fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit did not work with 2 of my tv's due to the size and power location it does not want to fit the tv with the HDMI port straight out the back nor my 40" tv that the port is recessed in the center of the back... I have 1 tv it did work on which is why I kept it but it needs to be changed a bit for multiple power in points so it will fit more tvs... I would recommend the other units before this one.

Worth every penny!

We invested in $39 Roku sticks through out the house, $9.99 for Netflix and $11.99 a month for Hulu, with Internet only we are out of roughly $60 a month for everything. For regular tv channels you will need a reg antena.
