Hook up is extremely easy. In use in probably less than 10 minutes. The remote is uniquely designed. Lots of apps/services available, many for free! As with most of these new streaming type devices/Wi-Fi Blu-ray players/Smart TV's/etc., I wish the app descriptions were more clear before you load them as to whether the content is 'free' vice the app just being 'free' to install !!!....

This does everything you need it to. Very nice price, easy to use, good pic quality.

First of all, let me say that I have the Fire TV Stick as well. You can't go wrong with either choice. I bought the Roku Stick because CBS All Access is not available on the Fire TV Stick. We also have a Roku 3 in the house. While I intended to use it as a supplement, I am finding I prefer the Roku for pretty much all of my media streaming, except HBO Now of course, which will be coming to Roku later this year, and Amazon Instant Video. I had a Chromecast previously, and it couldn't even handle what I needed. This is probably the ideal choice for anyone who doesn't have the room for a Roku 3, and needs everything in one device(HBO is available through Sling TV or HBO Now, Showtime is available through Hulu and the Showtime app). As I mentioned before, CBS All Access is available, and that is $5 a month. Very zippy little device, given the amount of memory.

The Roku provides exactly what we hoped it would. Was very easy to set up.

Impressed with amount of content. Amazon, PBS, Netflix, etc. More than I could ever watch in a lifetime. Very portable. Remote is perfect. I also use Chromecast, and the Roku stick has it beat in content. However, I still use the Chromecast for casting from my computer. So neither is a one and done type of unit.

Easy to use. Works just as good as regular Roku. The USB power option is great.

I have a backyard projector I hook up the laptop to. We watch sports and movies and stuff out there. This involves a lot of extra cords, etc. The Roku stick is a very small and easy way to accomplish the same thing. Very easy to set up, very simple to use. I like the Roku Remote Control app better than the controller they give you.

Once loaded , about 30 sec longer than my other Roku, It provides great consistent picture quality and reliable connectivity. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. This is a good value for and I would recommend it for anyone who hasn't the room for a set-top Roku.

All in all it works great, the only snag I have run into is that at some random times the remote stops working but all I have to do is pop the battery out and back in then it works like normal. It has a lot of great streaming apps and is really easy to set up.
