I cut the cable cord a couple of months ago and haven't looked back. I bought the Roku streaming stick to watch TV in bed at night. Streaming can take a few minutes to catch up with itself some times, but other than that it's great for what I need it for I would recommend having it on a TV that you watch a lot, but rather a TV that don't "rely" on all the time.

Awesome and very very easy to setup and use. You need wireless Internet but lots of great free channels and movies to watch. Big time bonus with a Netflix subscription.

This is a great streaming device for the price! It does so much more than the Chromecast and has the same channels as the Roku 3. The only complaint I have is that it's a little slow to start up, but once it's ready it's awesome! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cheaper alternative to a Roku 3 or Amazon TV.

The Roku stick is everything I expected and more. Awesome product.

I imagined that I could access anything that was available on the web, but as an example you can't watch hulu only hulu plus. It seems to interfere with my rabbit ear reception, this isn't conclusive just how it appears. You also must use a payment method to e.g. credit card, to use/register the product. their assumption is you will be paying for the services that require it through them, I almost returned the device due this. There are lots of content available, however it involves loading channels onto the device and with that more needs to be known. I would like to have been able to watch FX or some other networks online content directly. and free, rather than hulu or some other pay for use provider.

I am a proud owner of a roku 3 so I was a bit worried that the stick wouldn’t be as fast or slick on the menu screens as the 3. It turned out that the stick worked just fine. I don’t notice any differences anymore in speed and I was quite happy at the speed of the setup. As long as you have good wifi in the area, the stick is pretty slick.

This is a nice little unit. I would recommend it to anyone that does not have a "smart TV". It connects to the network easily without some of the expected frustrations. The channel choices are nice. We got it for the wife's quilting room and she loves it. Buffering is minimal. She likes it because she can move it between the bedroom and quilting room herself.

Roku is really easy to use and provides access to so many channels.
