Had to buy an additional HDMI adapter (4 port) because not only is my TV not connected to the internet it had only one HDMI port. All works well. I was able to connect to the internet with the ROKU and access Netflix. Just need to push a button on the adapter (Rockfish) and it connects to either my TV or the ROKU Device.

We have been disappointed with our Roku purchase. It consumes a ton of my WIFi bandwidth, often pauses and/or loses the show in Netflix, is extremely slow to respond and the remote is very slow and/or doesn't work sometimes.

We wanted something to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, and our movies on Vudu with and didn't want to have 3 separate devices for each service sitting on our shelf. This fits the bill perfectly and is faster to load than the Apple TV and Amazon Fire to boot!

I like the product - easy to use. Plug it in and go

I have had Roku since the first version. Was excited as this was my second Roku purchase and the technology has come a long way. The setup was easy for me. The hardware seems well made and I am confident it will last. The price is comparable to similar devices with other services. What I do not like is on one occasion I had to reconnect one Roku to my WI-FI again, why? I found the remote is very sluggish, you push the button and there is noticeable lag before your TV responds. I believe it is the remote to dongle connection that is the bottleneck or delay. Other than that all wires and hardware is hidden behind the TV. I do own newer TV's that have Netflix built-in which I recommend and I prefer. This device allowed me to connect two older flat screens TV's so they can have Neflix.

ROKU is one of he best purchases ever if you are a movie freak like me. Now I can sit at the table in our Florida Room with the flowers and a full view of the back yard, watch movies when I should be on the computer writing.

Great great product. .... I have one for all my tvs

Bought this item for the spare room that my son uses and he hardly ever comes out of that room. He watches all of his favorite cartoons and You Tube videos on there. It's small and plugs into the t.v. so that we don't have to find a place to put a box.

We got it specifically for jw broadcasting. However menu navigation is glitchy. And requires returning to home to reset.

i CANCELLED MY CABLE the cost was outrageous. I bought antennas for my TV's and ROKU's for them also. WOW!! I can watch a lot of tv shows with the ROKU, you must have internet service to do that. I can also listen to local or far away radio stations.

Low cost but network speed is low. Good variety of channels

Would not connect to my network. I 'm pretty good with networks since I carry a BA in IT. I tried everything and nothing worked. May work for you but it didn't for me.

Overall this gets the job done for not buying a smart TV.

I can say it is not the best but it's ok for the price. I have issues with the remote control. It takes time to respond and disconnects a lot. i have to mention it is a bluetooth remote. Streaming video is good.

Lots of choices and prices. Good movies and tv programs

I mainly purchase this item to have access to U-Tube on the TV. REDBOX, HULU, NETFLIX and additional other streaming channels are available some with a small fee per month. This is also good for a budget that doesn't includes Cable TV or Satellite.
