If you want to get additional content like, Hulu or Netfli, but don't have a smart TV, here's the way to go. Also, if you want a channel like Acorn TV, it may not be available on your smart TV. It's easy to set up as long as you have WiFi. I highly recommend Roku to add to your viewing pleasure.

Full Roku experience for half the price of a Roku 3. The processing power is not has great as the Roku 3. So if you don't mind the extra 30sec or so boot-up time, this product will satisfy your needs.

Convenient and cost effective alternative to an Apple TV unit. Both have a remote that selects the desired app, thus eliminating the need to go thru an iPad or other mobile device. Set-up can take time depending on the your location and strength of your WiFi, but once connected it's great.

I was debating between the Roku box and this model. In the end I went with this model since there really didn't seem to be a difference other than the stick using wifi. I've used this now for a couple months and love it. Haven't noticed any lag with videos. Great selection of add on stations too.

I bought this to try it as an alternative to cable. HULU plus and Pandora is probably what I've used the most so far. I haven't set up a Netflix account yet. None of the other channels have really grabbed my attention so far, but I haven't really tried to watch them either.

Love the Roku Streaming Stick; but cannot see all shows because Comcast doesn't license all of its shows, so have to use On Demand online, if they're even there. Do your research first if you have a specific show you want to watch using the roku stick with a comcast show.

I was looking for a way to lower my cable bill and since my kids spent most of their time watching Netflix, the roku was a great alternative to paying $95 per month. I use a roof antenna for local channels. I would recommend product to others.

The device is low profile. I use it on a TV mounted to a wall. One thing that I didn't understand when I bought it was that it would need its own power source. That said, I had a wall plug handy so it wasn't a big deal. I could see that being an issue for others, though.

We love this Roku! It does everything we need it to do. We were concerned about cancelling cable and going without, but by subscribing and using this device we are much better off and it comes in cheaper than what we were paying.

I bought this for my bedroom TV when I cut the cord with DirecTV. It worked great for about a week, but it would then lock up most of the time. I returned it and bought the Roku 3 (very happy with this one!)

I love having the stick because now I can watch netflex upstairs on my other tv and if I want to go back down stairs to my other tv i can continue watching the same show where I left off. Also, you cannot beat the price for what it offers. You don't only have to watch netflex it also has amazon, games etc.

i was introduced to this product through my wife via my daughter. it has been a nice addition to our home for watching the shows that we had to pay high price cable bills for, the only glitch that i encounter is that it sometimes is a buffering mode occurs

Does not work with harmony universal remote control.

I was anxious to try my own Roku after seeing it at a friend's, but that was Nothing compared to having one of my own !! I would go without Cable before I went without my Roku now.. Seriously. The options are practically Limitless, there's something for Everyone & the price couldn't be beat! I love it :-)

It's very simple to connect,u just plug into your HDMI slot and into wall. It searches for any good WiFi connection quickly and it streams all the good channels such as Netflix Hulu sling etc. This is a must have and it's absolutely better than cable!!

It's not bad, but the actual Roku 3 is much better.

The streaming stick is fabulous. Easy to install and add to in-home wireless. I have a more expensive ROKU unit elsewhere, but this stick gives the same service for way less $$. Great way to get SMART TV benefits without buying a new TV.
