Coolest thing ever, kids love it... Hubby loves it, dad understands it and I am all about the awesome channels of the way back... Love it so much bought the tv integrated with it for our daughters room. 12 thumb's up, and 12 big toes hanging in there to support roku.

Requires you to provide your Credit Card information as a condition for use. This is unacceptable, I don't intend to buy anything from ROKU nor do I want my information put at risk. Also, you must "patch in" audio from the TV to your receiver.

The expertise of the sales associate was perfect. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but as soon as I walked into the store and told them what I was looking for and the amount of money I wanted to spend I was happily back home enjoying purchase.

This tiny, little beauty has Vudu! It has Hulu! It has Amazon! And if those weren't enough, throw in a little thing called Netflix! Then add in 40+ other channels! I love this thing! I own three. I'd buy more but I only have 3 TV's. If you love yourself, get one for yourself!!!!!

It was a gift for my mother. Gave her more entertainment options for her non-smart tv. Better then having to update your bluray players each time. Which apparently after a while you cant access things like netflix on the players as they get older. Great solution.

Overall I'm happy with the Roku stick. A few minor things to be aware of. First I had some issues getting it to connect to my wifi, seems like a software update corrected this but you can't update the software until the device is connected to the wifi. Had to move the Roku much closer to the access point and had to try to connect 8 times or so. Once it was connected and latest update installed its rock solid. Second, and this picking nits, there is no scifi channel app. Kind of annoying as my Apple TV and fire stick have it. Love them Mgo app, renting movie for $2 less that on demand through uverse. I would buy this again over fire stick.

Roku is a very good platform if you're interested in mostly streaming on-demand content. With that, you need VERY good WiFi. So keep your receipt and test this Roku stick with WiFi speeds then decide.

Use it all the time. There four program buttons on mine that are very relevant. I have seen friend's rokus with irrelevant keys. Mine are: Google play, sling tv, Netflix, and Amazon. Have not used it at hotels/while traveling yet but hope to.

I have an Apple TV but gave this a try for my kids. I like this better as it integrates into my Plex media system so much better than the Apple TV. I'd give it 5 stars if the performance navigating the various apps was better.

A bit slow, but I guess that is why they have other ones that you have to pay for just for speed. Products should be one product not spread out because of more speed for price.

This version functions exactly like the standalone version Roku offers except that its slower when booting. Otherwise its a great buy! I highly recommend this product for someone on a budget that wants to add apps to their TV experience.

Product easily plugs into HDMI port. My only negative comment is that, since the port is at the back of a large TV, it might be easier to use one of the other Roku products with a cable, should you need to get at the device.

This Roku is the third stick in my house. I figure for $40 why bother reaching behind TV's and unplugging. This ROKU is excellent for streaming and I have never had any tiling issues or latency with video. If you have a non-smart tv, this is the way to go.

I had problems with getting Netflix to work as well as the unit kept locking up requiring constant restarts. Additionally, I plugged it into a MHL port on my TV, but it didn't power up - I had to connect the external power cable for it to even power on. The channel selection was good, but I think that I received a problem unit. I returned it and didn't get a replacement. They have a good reputation, so my guess is that it was the one I had.

I needed to save money so I ditched cable and got this and it's great you get a couple month long free trials so I'm going through them now. With hulu and amazon prime I don't feel like I'm missing out at all!

This is the second time buying this product because the first one froze and wouldn't come back. It is good when it works. Hopefully this one will last longer than 9 months.

I haven't had cable in several years but from what I remember there was a ton of channels with never anything to watch! Now I can personalize my TV to what I want to see! Netflix, Amazon, movies, tv or music ... it all available thru this awesome device. I love my roku!

We have older tv's and needed something to help connect them for streaming purposes. This was perfect for our bedroom tv and much cheaper than buying all new smart tvs! The only thing I regret is not getting the 3 because the remote has headset capability.

I like this Roku for my daughters TV in here room because. It is hidden behind it and plugs into the powered USB port on her TV. This Roku has took the place of the Xbox 360 on her table since she only used it for Netflix.

This is a great streaming device. It offers a lot of different options such as Netflix, vudu, and Amazon prime.
