Great little device. I ordered the item and it shipped out the next day. So many channels to choose from and in my case it gets it's power from the USB port on my TV. So there is no extra power cable hanging from the back of my TV set.

After the purchase and easy setup of the device, it took about 15 minutes to choose (and sign in to) channels such as Netflix, Disney Channel, etc., an we've been using it regularly ever since! Ultimately, this Roku is a great streaming device at an affordable price!

Prior to this purchase, I tried two other devices. One didn't work right and the other required your smartphone to be your remote control which is a problem when you are using your phone for other purposes at the time. Roku comes with its own remote and is easy to use.

Adding streaming capability to a TV really expands the viewing options. I use it frequently for baseball (MLB.TV), and access to original content on, for example, Netflix, and Amazon. At the price one can hardly go wrong (as long as one has robust WiFi in the house).

What a great buy! No longer need a gaming console for Netflix, listen to pandora while cleaning, canceled my gym membership and workout for half the cost! Love it.

this device works well; however it is a little difficult working with more than one control to get to Netflix, etc. It is very affordable

I have looked for a way to cut the cord of cable for years. This product,though,not perfect delivers. It offers a portal for easy access to more content than I could even get around to viewing. It's our families "new best friend"

Its not as fast as the V3, but it does get the job done. It is super small so I can take it with me in my computer bag no problems!

This is a great way to watch tv and actually find what you like to watch. even the kids like the fact that they can pick the shows to watch without waiting for a specific time. I have already recommended the roku to my friends.

I expected the Roku to work in my hotel. But there is no way to authenticate the Roku device so it can identify itself as a legitimate network user. Actually there is a way, if you travel with your own portable router. Right.

Works wonderfully, easy to set up. My only caution is to check where your USB ports are... Mine were slightly depressed into the back of tv so fitting this in correctly and securely took a couple tries.

Had some issues with the remote connecting to the stick on one of the four that I purchased. I ended up returning all four because Best Buy had the newer version with a faster processor on sale for only $5 more.

This is not a difficult device to connect, just that it will not recognize my wireless router's password. It will run off my wireless phone, but not from my wireless internet.

For some reason the remote start failing from day one. I was using one of the first version of Roku and this one is lower quality. Roku is a great brand so lets see what is coming with the new version in this fall.

This has worked wonders in all of our tv's since cutting cable ties. The only thing I wish it had, was an easier way to know what "free" apps are actually "trial" ones.

The Roku is a great device if you want to save money every month on your cable bill. The only thing that I don't like is you have to scroll up and down just to get to the channel that you want to watch.

I bought it mostly to watch Netflix, but loved I could use it to watch shows with my Amazon Prime membership too. Haven't had a chance to explore all the other included and available channels. I researched and decided Roku offered more than Chromecast.

Love this little thing. Fast, can mirror my tablet onto my TV which is a big plus. Can also use my tablet as a remote. Has many channels to choose from. At this price, you can't beat this. Way better than chrome cast and similar products in my opinion.

Husband and I purchased this black Friday. We love it.. We have an older home and we can't run cable upstairs, so now with the roku, our daughter can watch movies in her room along with other awesome things using the WiFi. Glad we made the investment.

I really thought this unit would do more and provide more choices in channels to watch. It's also sluggish to navigate. However for the price it does well otherwise.
