I was told it was easy to plug into TV and I could get lots of TV shoes and Netflix. Would not connect to TV type. After trying several time could not get it to work.

. It is a great gadget.The only thing is that it takes a while for it to start. But you just have to wait for approx. 2 minutes before Netflex comes on. I should have dropped FIOS long before.

I love how you can add the extra channels to this device. I use it everyday. The only thing that's different is the fact that you can't really turn it off. It stays on all of the time. I would suggest unplugging it occasionally though...

We have one on most tvs. Great for watching netflix, amazon prime, hulu plus and pbs kids. Use this instead of DVD player.

I bought this to use in my bedroom and so far it's been great. I didnt want to add another cable box to my monthly bill but I wanted to have more options than just the broadcast channels. I am very pleased and my purchase another Roku product soon.

The Roku Stick is great, easy to navigate and has so many choices in channels. Almost too many. The menu is clear and easy to choose from, after you choose all your channels to watch. It's so good this is my 2nd one in my house. Love it.

This is our second Roku. We purchased one 2 years ago for the main TV. This one was for my daughters TV. She installed it herself - so easy to use. It makes living without cable much easier.

I mainly use the Roku for Netflix. It's easy to use and the remote is definitely clutch. I reviewed other similar products online and at the store and chose this one and I'm happy with it. The price wasn't bad either.

Offers a lot more channels than the standard channels available on a Smart TV. It would be a lot nicer if it had a built in keyboard for all the text setups. Would also like to see it with an internet browser.

great item to have for anyone that is a time warner cable customer. can watch anything we receive through cable box except local channels. also great for Netflix.

I already own a Roku 3 so I was waiting for the streaming stick to go on sale and it did. I cut the cord on my cable and am on an antenna on all TV's so the Roku's give me a lot of different choices..

Great for the price - bought on sale - but be aware that regardless of internet speed, the interface itself of the Roku stick is somewhat laggy at times. I.e. Takes forever to open up apps like YouTube.

I had the chromecast before and I must say I prefer the roku stick more. The included controller is a great plus. I only wish it was an included device for ps vue. The other sticks allow that service.

I bought this to stream my Slingbox from my iPad to my TV. It kept freezing up. When I called Roku support they were no help. They wanted me to mail it back to them, at my expense, and they would either repair or replace it. I brought it back to Best Buy and was able to return it. Replaced it with Apple TV which has worked flawlessly.

I was watching Netfix in a matter of minutes. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't hold a charge which requires it to be plugged into the charger during usage. It's definitely not a deal breaker though.

I had a little difficultly getting it installed, Once I got it going it works great. I'm not to gadget savvy that's why it wouldn't work for me. It was not hard just needed to have basic knowledge that I lacked.

This is my second one. It is a great price and does everything I need. I am buying one for my mother so she can watch Netflix. I would recommend to anyone looking for a less expensive alternative to some other options out there.

We don't want cable/dish TV and this device has allowed me to have access to many free channels through our Internet router. We can choose to subscribe to many other channels to get current movies and the content we want.

have cable but with a ton of channels it still seems there is nothing worth watching. just plugged roku in and started watching a lot of series and no commercials hardly watch regular tv now.

Needs to be hard wired to work properly. Wi-fi seems to drop the connection on a regular basis, especially if there are numerous people in the office using wi-fi.
