We cut the cord on cable & went straight to Roku. You'll need to subscribe to certain apps to be happy, but it's so much better than those high cable bills. Set up was a breeze. My 13 year old did it all by herself....the box & the stick.

Saved money. My daughter wanted a smart TV so she could get NETFLIX. I shopped around and decided that I did not need to by a smart TV or DVD player. ROKU works flawlessly and happy daughter happy house. LOL

First streaming product for us. Easy to install and get it working on our 2 year old TV. Very easy to use the remote control for the shows selection. We love it so far until the next best thing comes out!

The stick functions exactly like the boxes, but at a much lower price point! The interface is wonderful and the apps are complete right out of the box. There is even an available Plex app which works amazingly well.

First bought this for my daughters room as her and my son doesn't have cable boxes for their rooms. They love this stick. They can watch anything that I have with my Uverse subscription throught their Roku and they can watch Netflix flawlessly. Awesome product.

I use this in a rather low usage area but it comes in handy and works well. Roku has some additional work to do in the set up and use of its menus, but that will come. I hope.

I'm very satisfied with this stick on my 40" Insignia..the pictures and ease of use has been Awesome...The number of channels just keep emerging ..There must be thousands of free movies...I've only just scratched the surface in the number that seem to be available...

I love my Roku. I was streaming through my Blu Ray player but it's so much easier to navigate through Roku. It also offers so many different programs. I will never had trouble finding something to watch. It's a must buy for those looking for an alternative to cable.

Simple to use. I just plugged it into the back of my TV in the HDMI port. I still have to subscribe to Time Warner cable but I was able to return one cable box and I'm now saving $30 a month in fees and I'm getting more programming choices. Highly recommended.

Easy to install and to set up. Got it for Netflix but discovered I can tune in to at least 4 free "live streaming" movie channels (they have brief commercials which is why they're free). If you choose, there are a variety of "pay for" channels as well. Very neat!

One of the store professionals suggested this product to me instead of purchasing another antennae.(I have too many trees surrounding my house) It was easy to install for a tech amature. So many free channels Great buy for the money. Glad I made the purchase.

Once you have set it up and linked it to your home wifi network, this works great. You essentially convert your slightly older TV into one with a smart hub, but then one with more choices (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, any many more), and you can keep adding choices depending on what programs you like. And you don't need to stream from your iPad or phone; it is linked directly to your home network and comes with a handy remote. Installation requires having a computer at hand to set up a Roku account (which is free), but it is all very straightforward and easy. I recommend you have a strong wifi signal.

I have a Roku 3 in the living room and love it! We got this one for my daughter's room and power it from a TV USB. It's a little slow to start because the power is coming from the TV but otherwise does the job. Love the size!

This was a gift for my parents who are not regular users of technology. This was very simple and easy to install. And they have really enjoyed using it. I ended up also buying one for my house too for the second floor. It's a great product for a reasonable price!

We use this at home and when we travel. I like how easy it is to setup and navigate, and love the fact that it comes with a remote that is user friendly. The product is affordable so I also bought another one for my parents who don't have cable and they enjoy it.

I absolutely love Roku! I bought two rokus to try out, one for my living room and one for the bedroom and they work great!! So many apps you can choose from but I have to say Netflix is my favorite!

I Love the Roku line of products and this one is no exception. The ability to power it from the usb port on ty tv has made this a must have. Its light weight, portable, and extremely user friendly. This is truly the best way to turn any tv set into a smart tv

Nice little product. I have multiple streaming devices including - Logitech revue Google TV box (sucks, highly unreliable, crashes all the time), Google Chromecast (good product, but needs a phone / tablet as a remote), FireTV stick (no complaints), Apple TV (no complaints) and the Roku Stick. What I love about the Roku Stick is that it comes with the remote and I don't need to push content using my phone or tablet. The streaming quality is great. Between this and FireTV or Chromecast, the Roku definitely has more channels. My only issue is that the while other stick TVs are in the mid $30s, Roku seems a little pricy.

The Roku reuires my phone to be in the room, but other than that it works great. I do not like that you have to plug the plug in. It adds another unecessary cord coming from the TV, but other than that, it does its purpose.

A friend told me she only subscribed to cable when a certain show aired, then would cancel. She used Roku devices for TV. I never understood until I got this stick. Unbelievable, 1000s of channels, private channels, Kung Fu movie channel. You add the channels you want - super easy. If you have Netflix and Amazon this is great - don't wear out your Blu-Ray or Xbox. Incredible search capabilities will search all the channels you have added and show you where you can view a show. This can save money as often Amazon Prime has movies a dollar cheaper. Do your research, you may want a Roku 3 (bought one too for living room) instead of the stick, both plug into HDMI port, sets up in minutes. I like it better than Chromecast (daughter has) and I like the remote better than Amazon Firestick. Firestick has more power for gaming, but I didn't need it. Great buy! Best Buy! (Couldn't resist...lol)
