We already have a roku, but we needed another one for a different room and it works great. It is extremely convenient and easy to use. Don't worry about losing the remote either, because there are apps in marketplaces that are able to control your roku systems.

I have had a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 for some time now. Once I added a third HD tv in my home, I of course had to have another Roku. However, where the new TV was mounted - placing a regular Roku wasn't going to be quite as nice. However, the Roku streaming stick fixed that. I easily attached it to one of the HDMI ports on the back of the TV. The TV's own USB port powers it fine(it does come with plug adapter if your TV does not have USB ports or they are under powered). The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the remote isn't as nice as the Roku 3 remote - also there is no headphone jack for quite listening. I know, it never advertised such, but after owning a Roku 3 - that is the only weakness I could find in the streaming stick. Overall, once again, a great product from the guys and gals at Roku!

I bought the Roku stick for the purpose of accessing tv.jw.org an internet TV broadcasting station produced by Jehovah's Witnesses. It was easy to set up and get working and it has the JW.org station already connected, so it's working perfectly for what I bought it for!

There are some smart TV functions we wanted without purchasing a new TV and this does the job. We can access many channels and it has been working just fine. I have never used a streaming device before, so there is nothing for me to compare it to unfortunately.

The Roku streaming stick works as advertised. Installation was quick and easy. Process of registering the new device was straightforward and I was able to begin using streaming on the tv immediately.

The Roku stick works well is easy to use and set up. The downside? It gets a little hot and the remote is not always responsive. That said as the entry level product, it does what it should and does it well. No performance issues.

This little streaming stick has a lot to offer for the price! I can't compare with others but overall it performs well with my HDTV. Plug and play. One thing to note, there are a lot of free channels, but some will cost you.

Very extensive amount of applications. I like this roku interface for a small tv that I have in the kitchen. The tv reception is not too good here but with the roku, I can load up hulu or comedy central and watch that. I like the vast amount of apps available. It does seem a little bit slower than the apple tv I have in the media room but not by much. The only thing that throws me off about this unit is that it does not have an off mode or off button. They say it doesn't use a lot of energy but I find it very odd.

My husband and I had a Roku 2 already and we wanted one more on our 2nd tv but with no box. It works great and is very practical, the fact it is a stick help our room look good without an extra box.

I'm not a gamer, so the prospect of only having the small stick was appealing. The set up was easy to do. It's easy to browse, add channels, switch back and forth from TV, etc. I'm happy with the program options and the quality.

The Roku far exceeded my expectations. I orignially purchased chromecast but it wasn't compatible with my wireless router. Roku was super easy to set up and user-friendly. I would definitely recommend this product if your looking for a streaming device.

The unit works well, and was easy to set up. Though we have had some issues with the picture freezing, resulting in having to soft reset the stick manually. It is very user friendly and streams fast. Good unit for the price.

I received a 40" LED flat screen TV for my birthday and the first thing I did was go to BestBuy and buy a Roku Streaming Stick. This is my second Roku, but my first streaming stick. I Love my Roku Streaming Stick!! I have Netflix and now I can watch TV in my bedroom with the streaming stick. It is so easy to use and set up and there are truly thousands of movies, tv shows and cable channels to watch without having a cable box, (providing you already have a cable account). I highly recommend getting the Roku Streaming Stick!!! For all of you that think you have to charge the streaming stick all the time or it won't work, let me just say that information is incorrect. You never charge the streaming stick. You either plug it in with the cable provided to the wall outlet or the USB on your TV. Buy it...you won't regret it and BestBuy has the best price too!!!

Roku Streaming Stick is so far the best stream stick in the market. Love all the apps and functionality it offers. Wish the remote had a input for headphones and that it does not need a USB port or AC adapter to power it.

I like the roku. It offers a lot of streaming channels, although I'm waiting for CBS to jump on the band wagon and offer the free episodes, not just ALL ACCESS. The things that bother me is the delay with the remote sometimes. You can be pointing at the TV and it's as if they are not communicating. Granted the stick is behind the TV. So maybe it won't be an issue if the stick is in front. The other thing is BTN2Go doesn't always refresh or so all the content. This could be attributed to my internet, though. It does take a few (several) beats to show everything available. If you didn't know, you need a cable provider to watch live TV or have the ability to watch past seasons. But that's what Hulu and Netflix are for and those come on the roku.

I mainly purchased this for Netflix streaming on my TV. I didn't realize I could get so many other channels with it , a lot which are free. It was easy to install and setup. I would like to get some of the other paid channels, but have to be careful on doing that for I am on a fixed income. Each additional channel fee would quickly add up to more than I can afford. If the prices were lower, I may invest in more channels. Right now I only subscribe to Netlix, which is keeping me entertained for the time being. I haven't seen the Hallmark channel or CMT or a lot of the TV series programs like Matlock, Walker Texas Ranger, Full House, Highway to Heaven. etc.. Maybe I haven't looked in the right place yet, I don't know. It would be nice if there was a volume control on the remote. Overall it has given me more than I expected when I bought it.

Bought 3 of them to stream music for my kids at night. I did have to buy a special hdmi elbow adapter for my tvs, so check where your hdmi ports on the tv first. It was still well worth it. They are easy to set up and easy for the kids to use.

Received the Roku Stick and had it set up and working in about 30 minutes. Easy! Now we have smart capability in our family room and really enjoy the options provided by the Roku Stick. Good price, too! Highly recommend if you have wifi in your home.

This is the second roku stick I've purchased and I absolutely love it. The first roku stick I purchased was a Christmas gift for my mother who has completely cut the cord. After hearing so many great things about it, I purchased one for my daughter's room. This option was cheaper than renting another cable for her room. With the roku stick, she can watch all 3 of the Disney channels amongst other things. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interesting in cutting the cord.

I have tried several streaming devices, including chromecast, apple tv and amazon tv, but I have to say the Roku beats them all in my opinion, it is easy to set up and has a wide selection of channels, you simply cannot go wrong with this purchase
