I bought this to watch net flix, I used to drag my xbox from one room to the next to watch my net flix! Now for a low price I can easily watch on each tv in my home without buying an expensive xbox! It's small and easy to hide! Easy to set up and use!

Streaming is fun! Roku offers lots of free stuff. The picture quality is excellent! The streaming stick plugs right into the TV. No wires! The Roku Remote has a preset button to get right into the Amazon channel. I recommend Hulu, Amazon and purchasing a digital antenna. Hulu has lots of great programs. Amazon gives you free shipping for online purchases with the yearly subscription. The digital antenna allowed me to watch live news and sports on the major networks. The wife likes the easy use remote control. The kids like watching the cartoon shows anytime they want. I liked the ease of installation and that we’re saving $100.00 a month by cutting the cable chord.

We bought this to avoid cable costs. It was a great choice. Easy to set-up and use. With Hulu, Netflix and Sling, we got virtually all the channels we watch.

I like the Roku 2. I bought it instead of the Chromecast because I needed a remote. The remote is a nice size and fits in the hand comfortably. I have Netflix and it is nice to be able to watch it on my TV instead of my computer. I was unimpressed with the selection of 'free' movies, most I've never heard of. Set up was very easy. Sometimes I have to hit a button several times before it will function the way I want it to, but, I am mostly satisfied with the purchase. Although I will buy a cheaper Chromecast for the other TV, since I will not need a separate remote for that one.

I have a Roku 3 and needed a more discrete Roku unit to hide behind a wall mount TV. This thing works great. A tiny bit slower than the Roku 3, but easily hideable with nearly all of the functionality of the Roku 3. No brainer purchase.

I've been very happy with my ROKU Streaming Stick. I especially love its portability and features included. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking into either replacing there cable or even just as a added option for watching media.

Easy to load and set up. Technically, works fine. The ROKU choices seems to be limited for recent issues, unless you pay additional premiums. Also, the information itself concerning the channels is limited.

Awesome little device, works great for streaming Netflix and Amazon, also has hundreds of free apps as well for everything from news and weather to movies. Highly recommend.

The Roku Streaming Stick HDMI Version was easy to set up. We have chosen to use the tv as the power source for the stick which means fewer wires hanging around. We have been very pleased with the Roku stick. Five stars and a recommend.

The Roku streaming stick does the job. I use it to watch Hulu and Netflix. My only issue is that the remote is flaky. Luckily they have an app for the remote so I just use my cell phone as my remote.

This works great for a variety of apps on any TV in range of WiFi. IF you have cable you get a lot more options, too. Easy to use, not the fastest thing ever but really useful.

The device works well. It was easy to set up. There's a wide range of options, but most require an extra subscription cost. Still worth the money, especially if you're looking to cut the cable cord.

The Streaming Stick was a snap to set up. Don't mistake the small size for the inability to connect to your wireless network. I have not had any problems with this Roku product. It is a great value!

I have a Roku 2 XS installed with the TV in the bedroom and it's performed flawlessly over the last few years. We recently upgraded to a 60" Samsung plasma in the living room, but it is not a "smart" TV; no Internet access or apps. We had been accessing Netflix using a Internet connected Blu-ray player, but the wife was having a hard time with the workflow. I needed to simplify the process and the Roku Streaming Stick appeared to be a good solution. Once it arrived I plugged the Roku stick into an HDMI port and the supplied USB cable into a USB port on the TV to provide power. Very handy because the TV is wall mounted and the cables are fished behind the wall. It took no time to find and connect to my 802.11n router, and after a quick registration process it was up and running. All of the Roku channels stream without any stutter or buffering. Picture quality is magnificent with most content streaming at HD quality. Now all we have to do is select the Roku port using our TV remote and settle in for some serious binge-watching. As a bonus, the Roku connects with the PlayOn media server hosted on my Windows 8.1 box. Just downloaded the PlayOn channel using the Roku channel store. This feature provides easy access to our photos, music and videos.

I bought this item so I would not have to get another cable box. It was easy to set up and has many more options than I thought. This was my 1st roku and not my last.

The Roku has been a great investment for our family. We use it primarily for netflix, and watch a movie as a family at least once a week. Easy to hook up, easy to use.

Nice variety of streaming content; option for using the app on tablet/phone to control device is nice; easy to configure and use.

Easy to install and operate. There are occasional freeze problem which is partly due to the lowest tier of FIOS that I have and partly to low device memory. It also occasionally resets by itself which is annoying. For example, if you have it set on a particular channel, the next day you might see the home page when you turn your TV on! I don't know if the same problem exists with other similar streaming devices so its hard to answer the question on whether I recommend this product! ........ But apparently I must answer so I just say yes for now ;)

I tried a chromecast - no luck I have a apple tv - too big Roku - just right! easy to user, easy to move around, pretty much it just works!

I already owned a Roku box and loved it. For the main tv though, I decided on the stick so that there was no messing around with a cord. The streaming stick inserts directly into the back of your tv. No HDMI cord required. You can't beat the price! You get HD and Roku.com has more than 2000 channels. Some require a subscription but many are FREE! I have cut my cable out completely and on both televisions I now soley use my Roku devices. Did I mention there is a remote? So easy to use and you can pause, just like if you were using a dvr. I am relieved to be done with cable. I do subscribe to Hulu and SlingTV which give me additional shows that I had already been watching. Go buy a Roku Streaming Stick! I can't imagine anyone regretting the choice.
