Our old Roku from 2014 would no longer update. This Roku is easy to setup, especially if you have a ROKU account already. The remote is also improved.

This Roku is the best one i have ever purchased. The remote control is easy to find since it lights up. Especiallty good fro someone with low vision.

I had an old stick and upgraded. It went together very easily. I like the remote that does not use batteries! So far it works very well.

It is very snappy. The quality with Dolby Vision and Atmos is great to have. The remove feels better and has backlights when you pick it up. My favorite streamer to date.

I bought this strictly for the access to the Roku Channel. Love how to easily navigate through the menus. Voice control is accurate. Plus the remote recharges with lithium ion battery included.

The picture on our 10 year old Samsung 47 inch 1080 TV improved significantly. It is clearer and more 3 D. It is comparable to that we have on newer higher end TVs. This is fantastic because the WIFI signal comes from an old Apple Air Extreme that is connected to an Xfinity gateway via Cat5 wiring and a switch. It demonstrates that this new modern Roku technology works great with both old and new technology. It has put our search for a new TV on hold.

I've got two Roku Ultras now and it is my favorite streaming device. I'm also owned the Nvidia shield pro, and I much prefer the Roku ultra over the Nvidia shield. I've never ran into any issues using the Roku ultra, I like that it has a ethernet connection for internet. The capability of streaming in 4K with Dolby vision and HDR as well as Dolby Atmos.

I’ll try to keep this short and sweet. When I buy anything I compare and research sooo much. Around Christmas 2024 this was me. It was between the Roku Ultra(2024) and the 4K Apple TV. My main things were finding something that supported all of the 4K HDR and surround sound output fun my TV/AVR setup provided. Also as an Apple iPhone user something that would support Airplay and do it WELL. I eventually went with the Roku Ultra. Haven’t looked back since. It supports all of my HDR and surround sound needed. And it does a great job at screen mirroring & Airplay. I don’t have a need for gaming or some of the other thing offered by Apple TV. I haven’t run into any issues with the Roku ultra, and haven’t had any buyers remorse at all. It’s super easy to set up for the first time and makes it even easier to add Roku products by remembering usernames & passwords which is fantastic. Other than great quality hardware and high quality outputs, I absolutely love the remote! Having a backlit remote is something you don’t know you need until you have it! Also love that it’s rechargeable, and the “find my remote” button set it apart from the competition! It’s very compatible with apple products AND android, etc. Just get it!! You won’t regret it!

Works so well, apps should not be run from a TV. A TV should be limited to a display. After setting up one Roku, it’s easy to set up another (just setup the WiFi and log into it). User experience js solid. Best bang for the buck for sure!

Roku ultra is the best ever. Ultra fast with no lagging, Take your flat screen tv to a whole new level of utmost viewing with automatic sound for each app while using device. The remote lights up at night by touch with voice control for all tv settings. If you bought a new tv and you have an older Roku unplug and upgrade it truly will transform your viewing.

I've always been a fan of Roku. When my home wi-fi started to act up my streaming stick would not work right, so I upgraded to the Ultra 4850R. I hard wired it and it works great on my second TV.

If you made the terrible mistake of buying a TV that has a weird OS and will not install apps like MotoGP, Victory+ etc, you can buy this for around $100 instead of buying an entirely new TV. It plugs into an HDMI port and saves you a LOT of time, aggravation and money!

I ordered the Roku Ultra 2024 streaming box to replace my previous Roku Ultra from 2020. The new 2024 model has a lot of surprising upgrades and features. It was very easy to connect the Ultra 2024 to my 65 inch Sony Bravia TV using the included HDMI cable, and using an ethernet cable to connect directly to my router. The audio and video quality from the Roku Ultra 2024 is top notch. All of my favorite streaming services were automatically installed onto the Ultra 2024 player after I signed into my Roku account. My only problem with this streaming player is the fact that it reboots every day. Literally every evening (roughly every 24 hours) the Roku Ultra 2024 freezes and reboots itself. Initially I found this to be annoying, and now I simply expect the device to misbehave. I hope Roku can issue a patch or a firmware update to fix the problem. If you are looking for a quality 4k HD streaming device, give the Roku a try. Just watch out for glitches and constant rebooting if you give the Ultra 2024 unit a try.

This is my third Roku device I have bought. The Ultra is the best of the three. If I had started with an Ultra, I would not have to buy the lesser 2 stick models. My mistake. It works well and the new remote is very good.

My older Roku Ultra had begun to freeze and I was just getting frustrated. Bought this new one, and all is well. It seems faster and I really like the way the buttons light up on the remote which I did not expect.

Really like the Roku as all our streaming services are in one place and this Roku syncs with our other one, which is nice.
