Great device. Doesnt take up a lot of room. Easy to set up and use. Romote control is easy to operate. Excellent sound quality with earbuds.

I like this better then the wifi one it works faster being that it's hard wired to my router no lag or buffering

Overall, have been very happy with the Roku Ultra streaming device. It loads programs much faster than my old Apple streaming device and my son was able to get it to work with my universal remote. I have not tried any of the free Roku content but have used it with Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Apple Plus TV. Note that this is for the Roku Ultra and not the basic Roku remote. I had to take the latter back to Best Buy because we could not get it to work properly and I exchange it for another Roku Ultra.

I will give this 5 stars because maybe it is me that cant get this thing to work properly. Upgraded from the 2019 model. A lot of issues with this one. Automatically pushes video to dolby vision. Have to force tv output to 4K HDR each time i turn it on. I pefer HDR over Dolby Vision. Roku automatically defaults it to 1080p Dolby Vision. I have a 4L TV. Also have to change audio setting to passthrough to read all of the new codecs (dolby atmos, dd+, Dts HD, etc.) Hopefully there will be an update that will fix this problem. It could be me that is making the mistake.

I bought this so I can watch my tv shows on my tv, and I love it! Throw any of your streaming providers at the Roku, and it will support it, the ultra is very snappy and launches fast. The phone app is also pretty good, and perfect if you just want to get going and don't want to use the remote, the remote feels nice in the hand, and the private listening feature is a game-changer for nighttime watching. I am very satisfied with Roku and can consider purchasing more in the future.

I bought this Roku Ultra originally because my 4K TV wasn't able to stream Dolby Atmos to my home theater set up from its built-in apps. However, once I had it up and running, it made life a lot simpler and I actually ended up getting rid of Dish Network and then putting two more of these boxes in my living room and the main bedroom. The box can handle just about any streaming application you use although I only have Disney+, YouTubeTV, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Movies Anywhere, Vudu, Hulu and ESPN+ It is fairly quick and easy to switch between apps on the Ultra although occasionally, an app will crash on startup. It doesn't take long to fire up successfully again but still not quite perfection. I don't know if the supplied HDMI cable is good enough to pass 4k HDR - I ended up using my own certified cables as I've had issues in the past with supposedly quality cables that can't handle the bandwidth. One would hope they do but again, I did not even try - plus they are too short to use for in-wall installations which I have. The box itself handles 4K, HDR and Atmos very well. The only thing missing is HDR10+ on Amazon but really, when I compared head to head with a TV that could handle HDR10+, I could not tell the difference. The Ultra handles Dolby Vision well and I really can't complain with how it slots into my living room and more complicated media room setups. I wish that the remote was backlit and also that the volume/mute buttons were not on the side. I find it clumsy and often hit mute by accident when I am just picking up the remote or changing to another app. The programmable buttons (two of them on the remote that ships with the Ultra) are great and easy to tie to a voice command. I set the first button to fire up YouTube TV so now whatever app I am in or if just walking in the house, I can press that and it turns on the TV and starts my last watched TV channel playing on the TV. The lost remote finder is probably good for some people but I can't remember the last time I lost a remote. The included headphones are also something I will never use so I can't comment on those. All in all this has been a good move and it is nice to have our three main TVs on the same system, so if you can work one, you can work them all without having to learn a new system.

I love this product. I had a less expensive Roku I bought about a year ago. It was great for getting cable to parts of the house that did not have cable but it would get a little sluggish sometimes. This one is so smooth, I love the voice command asking for a movie or TV Series and it comes up with every option of watching it with pricing. It is installed on an older TV and the picture looks so much clearer! I love the option of listening with headphone but we haven't used it too many times. Great product giving a great TV experience!

Roku streaming devices have come a long way. I got really used to the UI and paired this unit with my LG CX OLED because the WebOS navigation was just... convoluted and annoying. The UI is one of the best aspects of Roku devices, but for the good price you pay you get HRD and Dolby Vision, 4k, 60 hz, and ARC support. Also, the USB port allows for local playback of movies you have legal copies of if you use the Roku Media Player. I prefer Plex (which works really well with this unit). Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about it.

This is our my first experience with Roku, and I am really enjoying it. Having access to many apps is wonderful. Set-up and customization were a breeze. The most tedious part was simply signing into my accounts on the various apps. champ. I only have an HDTV, not 4K, but the Ultra recognized this right away, and the picture looks great. I also feel like I am set whenever Iupgrade our TV to 4K, whatever type of 4K set we get. Overall, the Roku does everything I want and more. I am perfectly happy with it.

Very fast, easy to use and set up. It has tons of apps for every interest that I can add, organize and remove at my convenience. Best menus navigation which take me step by step to what exactly I want to do or configure!. Remote can control your tv on-of+ volume which at the same time can control other devices as soundbars via HDMI. Remote control is very convenient with its private listening mode, voice command and the added 1 and 2 keys to store more of your streaming services. Overall, I love the new Roku Ultra! It really did the job!

I love Roku.I have been buying Roku for many years,and each time they make it better.This Roku ultra 4k is amazing..The colors just pop out.so clear and bright,The Roku processor is the fastest there is..The sound this handles is excellent.If your audio setup is dinky it plays amazing.This is very simple to hookup and I stall ,it's self guided.I love it and you will too.

We had a Roku about 8 years ago. This one is almost exactly like that one, but faster. The "find remote" button is a great feature. The remote feels solid, too; not cheap and flimsy. Being able to listen to the TV over headphones via the remote is also a surprisingly great feature. Roku definitely collects information about you, and they display ads on the home screen. That's less great. But in every other way, it's a solid streaming device. You can also AirPlay to it from your iDevice exactly like you can with an Apple TV

I’ve been waiting for Ultra so that I can finally enjoy the full benefits of my LG OLED 4K TV. Especially when streaming events like Formula 1 Grand Prix and movies in 4K. Audio is improved now with support of HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos. Setup was easy and installation only took about 30 minutes. Reading through Roku shortcuts was really helpful in learning about which channels are included and how to add others. I’m really pleased with the purchase and look forward to using voice control and the included head phones.

Have a Samsung 4k smart TV and Roku functions so much better than using the TV's smart functions. Easy to setup and enjoy streaming your content. We have been using Roku devices for years and when a newer device comes out with updated features, there is no hesitation to purchase as want the best immersion experience in entertainment and the older versions get use on the bedroom TV or given to family members as they still work just fine.

I have purchased roku for all 4 of my TVs and have no regrets on quality or performance of this product

We love ROKU. This is our 5th ROKU purchase. This is a great device. We bought it for my Mom for Christmas. It makes her average TV look crisp and clear. She loves the headset since her hearing is not as good as it used to be. It has a strong WIFI signal and connects to her den which is far away from the router. The feature that we love the most about ROKU is our ability to drop the costly cable bill and pay for the APPs that we want. It also allows us to have a consistent experience across all of our TVs.

Love the 4K Roku. Quick, seamless, and easy install. The kiddo loves the headphone connection on the remote.
