This film will take you through the ringers and back. Its such an emotional experience that the best way to explain it would just be by to see the film yourself. The talent in this film is just spectacular and I cant wait to see what they deliver next.

Movie reviews are obviously very subjective, but in my opinion this movie lives up to the hype. The story starts off strangely, but really comes together. Brie Larson deserves every are and accolade she has received for the film. Highly recommended!

Curiosity piqued because of Oscar buzz and win, checked this out and although it's a sobering somber film, it's still enjoyable as a watch. Brie is good as well as Jacob, although the breast feeding scenes were creepy and off putting to say the least. He was too old to be doing that, but she is damaged from her situation. Worth checking out.

Great factual story of a very brave women and her son who were forced to live in awful conditions under even worse supervision. For years, this mom protects her son from the truth and reality of their lives. Emotional and touching story.

This movie is very deep. It definitely hit at home for me as I've dealt with personal issues. To see the characters Ma and her son survive and thrive as they do is very inspiring. If you plan on seeing this film, be sure to read the book as well!

Very good movie about a woman forced to raise her child in captivity and then having to face the real world after escaping. Excellent performances and extremely emotional without being syrupy or manipulative. Really solid movie.

This movie is one of those, that you hear about, but never motivated you, when it came out. However once you see it for the first time you embrace it and makes you wander how would react if faced with such odds.

The woman in the movie was very determined to change the bad way she was living! She was determined to change for her daughter in a very positive way. More than what I can say in the real world! Sad to me.

Very emotional and tough to watch at times but I must say it's a must see at least once in your life. Powerful performances by both lead actors. The child gives such a stunning and very moving performance. Great film!

This was a very intriguing film. Well done, both acting and directing were top notch. It was kind of disturbing to think that people could be that evil, but we see it in the news way too often. This is a must see film.

Room is about a boy and his mother who escape captivity after five years in a small space. The story follows the mother weaving back into life and the boy experiencing almost everything for the first time in his life.

One of the best films to come out in 2015 with breath taking performances from the two leads...Brie Larson is a force to be reckoned with. This definitely brought me to tears in the theater on multiple occasions.

Touching movie, great cast and very riveting. The room itself seems so real and the story telling I'll never forget. Good movie to educate young women and the dangers of meeting strangers.

This is one of the absolute best films of 2015 and it may not be one to watch over and over again because the subject matter is definitely hard to take at times, but it's a great film worth adding to your collection.

Brie Larson was phenomenal in this film. You instantly connected to their situation and felt the emotions each person went through. Absolutely worth purchasing only to watch over and over again. You won't regret it.

This film really gives you the feels. Gives you a good understanding about the people who do survive abduction and the great deal of problems when it comes to the media and even family when facing the world again.

I could not figure out what the movie was about until at least half way through the movie. Then it became very clear. Could be based on a true story. Touches all of the emotions. Good movie Highly Recommend it.

Brie Larson won a Best Actress Oscar for her superb performance as a mother who, along with her young son, was held captive for several years before escaping to freedom. How they rebuild their lives and the difficult path back to "normal" is the focus of this absorbing drama.

Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay both give excellent performances in this griping movie. The two of them are what make the movie shine. The strength of Brie Larson is absolutely hard to turn away from.
