I bought this when moving into my new house, it replaced a Kirby that was only a couple years old. This vacuume is amazing, and with all the additional parts it comes with makes it even better. I was sick of buying bags for the Kirby, and to be honest this works much better than the Kirby did, for a fraction of the price.

I have had many Vacuums in the past and as a owner of a German Shepherd who sheds I have to say this vacuum does the job. I recommend highly to anyone who owns a dog!

This Shark vacuum was purchased to replace our aging Dyson, which had enough plastic pieces break/fail that I finally decided to replace it. Between the fact that Dysons have gotten so expensive since the last one we bought, AND the fact that they really haven't solved some of the things I complained about with our last one, I decided to look into other brands. One of my chief complaints about our Dyson was that when I was vacuuming the floor and came across, say, an end table that needed dusting, I'd have to stop, pull out the long aluminum tube handle from the back of the thing, attach the dusting attachment, do my thing, and then reconfigure it for floor duty. With the Shark, you just pull the tube out, put the attachment on, do your thing, and keep going. At a fraction (okay, about half) the price of a Dyson, this Shark vacuum is a bargain. It comes with a variety of handy tools, and even has a wheeled cradle that allows you to use it like a canister vac--which is helpful, because when using it with the machinery attached to the handle, it is a bit unwieldly--not impossible to use, just a bit top-heavy. The suction on this vacuum is so powerful, it actually takes some getting used to, so bring your skills. I found that when vacuuming floors, it wants to lift up area rugs, and when using the dusting tools, it tends to suck them to the surface you're trying to clean. in fact, my only complaint so far is that the bristles on the dusting tools could be sturdier to keep the hard plastic they are attached to from contacting the surface being cleaned. Overall, a great value, but actually may be too powerful for some users. But if you like a vacuum with good, powerful suction, this one is worth a look.

Changed from Dyson to Shark. Best decision ever. I like it mire than the Dyson. It really suck dirt and is very light.

Replaced a Dyson Animal, that I paid over $600 for. The Shark - Rotator Powered Lift-Away XL out cleans the other one. My carpets look so much better after vacuuming with the Shark. Attachments are easy and switching from carpet to wood/tile is simple. Also the power button where your hand goes is great!

This is more powerful than I thought. It is a little heavy. Easy to empty. Overall is a very good vacuum.

Great product and great suction. Cleans great even has side vac ports to get closer to baseboards!

Saw this on sale and didn't get it. It went on sale a couple weeks later and I decided to pick it up for around $209. It is very easy to use and has nice attachments and options for multiple floor types and stairs.

Impressed with suction and ability to deal with pet hair and dirt. Easy to empty and no bags. Easy to maneuver and modular allowing my wife to use her preferred canister method. Great attachments. You just keep waiting for something to be bad about it but nothing so far. Beyond expectations.

This thing has tons of power and suction. Seems to really work well on all surfaces. It basically pulls itself around. Tons of attachments and I am pleased with our purchase-it was on sale when we picked it up.

Cleans very well, excellent suction and lifts a lot of dirt out of the carpet, more than I ever got out with my central vac. It's very versatile and the number of attachments included is extra value for the money. I've only used it 1/2 dozen times but so far so good.

I wanted the Shark vacuum because of the swivel head, suction and the ease of removing the canister so I could do the stairs without lugging the whole vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs. It does an great job of cleaning.

Great suction. A little top-heavy, but not bad. Easier to push on thick carpet than our Dyson.

I've never even purchased a vacuum cleaner before. This was the first time I've done research and pursued a machine on my own. The last vacuum I had was given to me from a family friend and when it started to spark and smoke, I knew it was time to throw in the towel. Did some research and found this Shark. It performs wonderfully, and the variety of attachments mean I always have the right tool for the job. Great product! Excited to try Shark again when it's time for bother new machine. My only gripe with the vacuum is the 'cart' carrier thing doesn't store very well. When the vacuum is put together there are other parts and pieces to try and store, which take up a lot of space. We don't have much spare room. That's the only thing. Aside from that, amazing vacuum!

Works great. Fills up quick. Not sure if capacity is small or it just works that good.

Love how well this vacuum cleans! Was concerned about the weight when we purchased as we were replacing a canister vacuum but after using our concerns went away, this vacuum glides so nice and is easily maneuverable. All the attachments work real nice, very good quality product.

This is the most impressive vacuum I've ever used. The suction is extremely powerful, the LED lights are great for showing dust and tiny particles on hardwood floors. The LED Dust Away is probably my favorite feature. It picks up everything, we have hardwood and ceramic tiles with large area rugs throughout our home. The fine dust can be overwhelming, now that's not an issue. There are 4 possibilities of use and I love how much further I can get under and around furniture compared to other vacuums. I clean homes and have used many models over the years, including every Dyson. This Shark model beats them all. It swivels like the Dyson, but having the ability to remove the canister you can get in more areas than you can with the Dyson. Also, the wand has quicker accessibility and the attachments are easier to get to. The pet attachments are great as well. You will be pleased with the NV755, it really is better than the big ball Dyson.

I love this vacuum cleaner! The suction is terrific, it picks up so much dust and dirt. It is easy to use and has a lot of accessories that are useful. I love that you can use it as an upright or canister. It is also easy to empty and clean. I highly recommend this vacuum.
