By now, you're probably familiar or have heard of Runbow... it's on multiple consoles and even the 3DS now. If you haven't played it, it's an 8 player (up to 9 on the Wii U) runner game, where you're trying to reach the goal before everyone else... with the background changing colors which changes obstacles in your path, and you have the ability to punch, butt stomp, and Uppercut your way through everyone (these are also ways to burst up or down as well). It's hilarious, the levels are quick, and it's very easy to play... and if you have a group of friends over, it's a great party game. IT's on clearance for the Wii U right now, so snag it at this great price, as this version comes with all of the DLC!

This game is both extremely unique and extremely fun at the same time. Playing with up to 9 people, the most simple racing mode is some of the most fun multiplayer you can have on Wii U. It has online multiplayer and a single player mode both. Highly recommended.

Glad this game got a physical release. It is a fun experience that can be played single player but better enjoyed with friends.

My brother and I have had a blast playing Runbow! It ranks up there with Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze in terms of being an excellent multi-player platformer. This game plays best with another person, and isn't as fun to play alone. If you have a friend to play this with, I can't think of any reason why you would not enjoy it.

Classic platform gameplay along with retro graphics.

Really fun gameplay with friends (reminds me of playing Super Mario Brothers on orig. Wii w/ 4 people).. Art style is cool. Wish it had more meat to its single player.

As a player of the original release, I'm happy with this version of the game. I get the 9 player madness I love, some of the greatest indie game characters of the past few years (Team Lilac here! Shovel Knight is awesome as well) AND as a bonus, all of the DLC included right on the disc! Also, I found out that there's a code with the game for a free download of the soundtrack, which is a good listen. BE WARNED if you have save data from the original Runbow, it will not be compatible with this disc version. I almost decided against getting this version for that reason. But it was worth it in the end to me.

At first I wasn't sure about this, but the creative and fun gameplay combined with local multiplayer make this Wii U exclusive quite the hidden gem.

Up to 9 people can play. Pretty rad. This is an "end of lifecycle" game for the wii-u so it is worth picking up before it goes out of print.

This is a fun game for the wii u system. Graphics are good and control of the character is nice. Fun game for the whole family

A lot of fun if there are more than two people around. Some stages require more skill than others but overall a fun party game.

I bought this game for my kids for Christmas. We have a Wii U as well as an XBOX One. I was looking for games that they could play together and Wii U seems to have more options for that purpose. This game allows up to nine players local. We have four controllers and the game pad, so my whole family can play this game together. It also has multiplayer online which we haven't used yet. I would assume only one player could use online at one time. We started out at the easiest difficulty level and it's pretty challenging, but fun.

This game might be rare in the future since the Wii U was not a well received console. But a lot of the games on the system are good.

Great for multiplayer, and also has enough gameplay for single player. If you want something wacky to ocupy your time, this is it.
