Super cute little extras, the acrylic standee looks so nice on my shelf and the notebook is actually alot better than i imagined with lots of helpful info in it almost like a guide. Im very sad it doesn't have a steelbook or art book though, as i was never able to get the RF4 archival edition. I've always loved Rune Factory 3 so I'm very happy to finally be able to play it on my TV. It's very close to being the same as the original with the exception of some dialogue and voice actors. If you have never played RF3 before just know that being an older game it doesn't have all the QoL and extra features as RF4, however it's a great game and definitely worth your time and money. RF3 deserves 5 stars but sadly best buy does not right now, I wish I could review Best Buy separately. I always do my important games and collector's editions preorders through best buy as pick up in store orders and I've never had an issue like other places. This time the release date being on Tuesday I couldn't make it to the store, so i placed it for shipping instead excited to play it in the evening. 5 days before release the status said my order was being packaged for shipping, and stayed like that until finally in the afternoon on release day it got shipped. My order then came on thursday, whick made preordering it kind of pointless for me. When i noticed it wasnt be shipped in time to make it here by tuesday i tried switching to in store pick up but it wouldnt let me since it was in "being packaged" status for a full 5 days before actually shipping. Now I know I'll use best buy for pickup orders, but I'll use their competitor for shipping orders as they always have it arrive on or before release day.

Fun game! The characters are very interesting, and the farm mechanic are interesting. Fight it’s pretty simple but I feel like the crafting makes up for it.

As mentioned, I played the original RF3 back on DS, and I still have the copy as well. Like with RF4, it's nice being able to play the game in updated graphics and on a nice TV while still being able to play it portably thanks to the Switch's hybrid design. I will say, this game is definitely tougher than RF4, warning for those who played that first before playing RF3. Otherwise, it can be just as enjoyable.

They did an excellent job remaking RF3, the game embodied all of the charm from the first time I played it with the increased gameplay convenience of the swirch. The only downside was that a lot of the QoL (quality of life) updates they made to the inventory system for RF4 were not added in for the RF3 remake. I found the game significantly clunkier gameplay-wise compared to RF4 and RF5 and it detracted from the experience. I understand that adding those systems in would have added a lot of work, but when you're remaking an old game as a port to a new system you really should include the baaic system improvements you added to later games. I mean, the Atelier series manages to do that! When you already had the code available from the RF4 remake and RF5 games, it really makes the Rune Factory series seem subpar to not integrate it for the RF3 remake.

This was my first entry and I was immediately hooked with the characters and the style of rune factory. Worth every cent!

An excellent remaster of a great classic from the Nintendo DS era, a must have for a Rune factory fan. The special edition just looks and presents itself better than RF4 and RF5. I do wish they had done a little more updates to match it up with at least RF4, but that is a personal preference, other than that, great game, great purchase. If you can get it at a discount then its definately a title to pic up. Unless you are a fan, i would just go with the regular version.

Great remake. It's definitely worth getting a copy, especially the special edition.

I have been playing rune factory since I was a young kid! I started with 2 then 4 and 5, but was never able to play 3. Then remastering for switch made me so happy as I hope to collect the whole series! The game is cute and I love the characters- since it is older ot was a bit to get used to vs the newest game but I still enjoyed a bunch :) Hopefully they’ll remake one!!!

This is a beautiful and fun remastering of a classic. It offers graphical enhancements, a wonderful story, fun farming aspects. If your a fan of Rune Factory this is a must own.

If you like any of the other rune factory games you would like this one. It has a different perspective being able to turn into one of monsters. It's pretty good game.

A darling remaster of a DS classic! It's story campaign is definitely shorter than RF4 Special, but it more than makes up for that in the quality of character interactions. It does also show its age a bit and isn't as graphically up to date as I would have hoped, but it's still such a charming experience I can't help but encourage fans of RPGs/Farming Sims to try it :)

WOW another home runs for this series of RPG part 3 excellent storylines and gameplay the best I have seen by far.
