I have no prior experience with this series but decided to give this a try after watching some gameplay. The vibes are really chill. Combat is not difficult on normal mode but still satisfying. The village building, farming, and relationship building with the villagers is cute and fun. I bought the switch version but ended up finding a switch 2 so I bought the $10 upgrade. The graphics, music, frame rate is all great. I did not try it on my switch 1 though. Voice acting is also really well done!

A lot of quality of life upgrades, great characters and main storyline - Don't expect it to be Rune Factory 6 and you'll enjoy it. I appreciated the added ability to date all of the characters without consequences and without regard to which MC you started with. If I had to say cons: - Crafting system is simplified vs other RF games. - Certain weapons/tools don't feel great to use. I had issues with the autoaiming for bow and jumping with the parasol, specifically. - The OG switch won't run this game as well as a PC or Switch 2.

A great game that will keep you entertained for hours. There is a bit if everything farming, fighting and friends. Create your own towns and give the villagers tasks to do every day to help you with your responsibilities and even take them on adventures to fight and capture monsters.

I'm obsessed with this game. It's got farming and relationship-building mechanics along with action RPG exploration. The characters are all interesting, and the graphics look great.

While the game does have some new aspects in it overall it's a standard RF game at the end. While you can explore a more open world it does trick you by dividing it as various worlds instead of being on the same ground area linked to the others. At the end you do the same standard things you've done in the other RF games being farm,groom tamed animals and connect with NPC's to try and start a relationship with some. Is it worth the $60 price range? Not really but if you can get it for $40 or when it goes on sale that'll probably be the best time to get the game.

Runs very well on the switch, very fun title if you have never played Rune Factory before.

Was worried after Rune Factory 5 that performance wouldn't be good on Switch, but it runs great! My wife is having a blast playing it.

I love the franchise and I'm sure this is a great game but my package has yet to arrive. It's been over a week and I haven't received any updates on this despite me pre-ordering the game months in advance. I will probably avoid pre-ordering any other games from BestBuy in the future if it saves me any future headaches.
