..This late 70s classic Neil Young concert film, ‘Rust Never Sleeps’, receives the upgraded treatment here as it makes it’s appearance on BluRay disc for the first time. I’ve had the VHS and the DVD in the past, and the vivid colors & superb sound on this edition makes it come alive as never before--like watching it for the first time! Neil & Crazy Horse may have been at their rock ’n roll peak here, and as a companion piece to the ‘Rust Never Sleeps’ studio album of the same year, these remain essential additions to any Neil Young collection.

Video was restored from the original 16mm camera negative, and the audio is presented in both DTS-HD 5.1 and LPCM 2.0. In a word - stunning. The old DVD had great 5.1 audio, but this new Blu-ray is even better, and easily worth the upgrade. Buy with confidence.

This is just great music from years gone by. You will never get tired of listening to Neil Young. He is a master of music and he skills never grow old. This is one of his best.

What can I say, this is classic Neil Young concert on Blu Ray. Of course it has better film resolution and great surround sound. I enjoyed this concert film the second time around.

Excellant sound quality 192 kHz, picture some what shows its age, but is good. Again, very grovy....must have!!!#

I've had this on DVD for awhile and was happy to see it on blue ray, you can really tell the difference with the sound. Well worth the upgrade.

This is an all-time great concert film. This version features amazing sound quality, the picture is much improved over the DVD as well!

Well this is probably one of the best concert movies you will ever see in your life. I think it's probably # 2 on my list only behind the last waltz. The first half of this dvd is pretty much a neil solo acoustic set. With such great songs as After the gold rush, Sugar Mountain, Hey Hey My My. Neil is playing atop huge amplifiers with ewok looking characters setting up his equipment. The second half is a rocking electric set starting with "when you dance i can really love" then the loner and so on. Big highlight on this dvd would probably be the version of cortez the killer. If you like classic rock and can stand neil young's voice than watch this. It's amazing
