Using the sides of the screen is kinda the point of this phone. It's a little too bulky for my taste. It's a 2 part case, the smaller part that goes on the phone hits the screen protector edges at the top and bottom. So the screen protector is not really responsive in those areas because the case didn't really let the screen protector settle in. It collects dust at the back of the case which is minor and it's kinda annoying to take off but I guess that means it's secure. I haven't drop it yet so I don't know if it'll do it's job but seems like it will. I do like the grip edge There isn't much case options for this phone :(

I wish there was some type of protection for the screen as well like a Zagg Invisible Shield or something similar. The case seems decent so far and after a little prodding fits the phone well.

Motorola and the world let us down buying the Edge and giving Verizon the Edge Plus only. I use Att. Not much to chose from but it's the best on the market.
