You're able to remove the silicone casing around the hard-shell to be able to place your phone with ease. There is no protection layer around the charging or sound port, but there is for the lock and volume buttons. The kick stand has a little wiggle, but it still stands firm when placed on any surface. I like that it also has the ability to move the ring with full 360 degree rotation as well.

This case prevented damage. I didnt think this case felt sturdy enough when I received it and almost returned it. It looked like a cool case only - not very protective (alota those out there). I was wrong- I have now seen in person how protective this case truly is on more than one occasion. Absolutely recommend.

The cellphone cover is nice, but the clip on carrying case has already failed me twice in 3 days. Luckily I was over carpet so no damage to phone screen occurred. It will NOT stay in carrying case. It easily falls out of the case.
