I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting Shakespeare, but some of the dialogue is awful, almost cringey at times, but stick with it, the rpg parts are fun as hell, the mechs all control wonderfully and its paced enough to be intriguing.

Great game, I love it. It also has an anime series, if you ever want to check it out. But overall, great game and storyline. If your ever interested in this game, I would recommend to check it out for yourself.

When it was first unveiled at E3 about a year ago I was intrigued by the game. It very much has the look and feel of their Valkyria Chronicles and Skies of Arcadia games, and with good reason as the teams that developed the original Sakura Wars and this one also was behind Skies of Arcadia and Valkyria Chronicles. The game play is much lighter, with less emphasis on tactics than VC so it's a lot easier to get into. Overall the story has been a great "soft reboot" of the franchise and is very easy to pace yourself with. As with its cousins, the characters are as detailed visually as they are within the story arc. Overall a great addition to my collection and more than worthy of its pride of place in amongst my favorite video games.

A new entry in an underrated and often forgotten franchise. Though it's draw may only appeal to some, the combat is fun enough that if you can get it on sale, it's definitely worth a chance if you're looking for something different.

For year's I have known of the series but have never had a chance to dive in. With this one however it really proved great the francise is. Totally recommended for those that are fans of RPG's and Mecha!

Brings back a lot of the enjoyable interactions and narrative beats from previous installments. Combat is rather lackluster, but the characters and story make up for it tenfold.

Story and gameplay are interesting, but the game as a whole is a very barebones adventure game. It seems like it wants to be an RPG but lacks any traditional leveling system.

I’ve had a soft place in my heart for Sakura Wars since I was first introduced to the series a decade ago. I personally lament the change to an action game, especially since it seems to make it feel a bit more dialogue-heavy without the lengthy strategy sections to balance out the gameplay. However, Sakura Wars has always been about the characters, interacting via L.I.P.S., and experiencing some insane, over-the-top anime antics. In that respect, the new Sakura Wars recaptures the spirit of the earlier entries and is a perfect bit of RPG comfort food to brighten your soul.

I remember this series well on the Dreamcast and Saturn Import scene 20 plus years ago. I can enjoy the games in English now. Amazing story and soundtrack as well.

Wonderful cast of characters that are all unique and fun to watch. Battle system is hack n slash with robormtic mechs taking on evil demons in order to protect the city. Great game.

Has all the great things you want in an ARPG. Wish it was like the old turn based games but I feel it’s translated well into the action. Has such a great look.

A good starter for Sakura wars as there's many others in the series. Drove all the way to NH for this one from MA and it curbside was great and fast

It's been a while since I last played So long my love, the only other Sakura Wars title released in the west. This title brings back the classic LIPS choices and has some of the brightest cast of characters that this series is known for. Character designs are great too. Disappointed there is no english dub for this game but thats not the biggest deal to me. Also takes getting used to various parts of dialogue not being voiced. The combat is more disappointing as I would've prefered the old strategy gameplay rather than the musou style. Overall though I had a good time with the game and hope the series goes back to form in terms of gameplay.

It is good to see a new Sakura Wars game that keeps the spirit of the older games, even if it isn't perfect.

So far this game looks really good even on the ps4 slim would recommend people to buy this game if your into this type of game style.

One of the best dating anime dating sims combat is a little stale and repetitive but the key story elements are awesome and graphics are amazing for a title like this.
