I really enjoyed this movie/mini-series as a kid and enjoyed seeing it again all these years later. The Blu-Ray transfer is really good in both picture and sound quality. I would recommend this to anyone who may have seen it as a kid and enjoyed it, however I don’t know if today’s youth would enjoy it because it is dated and a bit slow.

It has James Mason as a baddie; you can’t go wrong there.

I only recommend this too some one who don't own this movie on dvd or if you loved this movie..... my only problem with this blu ray is there's no special features and I hate the square box where u see the black bars on each side of the screen smh but I own it and enjoy it BTW this is easy top 10 best vampire movie ever

Salem’s Lot is the ultimate vampire movie ever-even Nostrafo! It’s right on par with Bram Stocker’s Dracula. Stephen King alluded to it in the forward to the book. Great movie. ,

The picture quality for Salem's Lot the 1979 made-for-tv movie from director Tobe Hooper, is absolutely beautiful. The fact that it has a Tobe Hooper commentary is just icing on the cake. If you only saw it in TV back in the day, you have no idea what your eyes are in store for

This is one of my fav TV movies from the king of Horror. Sometimes is hard to put Kings words into live action, I guess it depends on the actors sets director etc. This one works well even after more then one viewing. Picture is better then the reg DVD print ,cleaner & sharper.
