I needed to replace the kettle I use in my office. The previous one was broken and quite plain. This one is anything but plain. It heats the water quickly but does it in style. Watching the water boil is entertaining. The blue light is a nice touch. I am the talk of the office every day as I make my tea! Great product.

my old electric kettle had finally given it's last full measure of heating and had started to leak, so it was time for a replacement. I looked at a number of units available at Best Buy and I chose this one mostly because of the glass body and the clear water quantity markings. Very please with the unit. WOW, does it heat fast. For a couple of cups of tea it's almost faster than getting out the cups and the tea bags. And it'll heat a totally full kettle to boiling in just about five minutes.

Saw this at my local Best Buy and went to my fave Amazon review column to check... alas, only 2 reviews on this product and one gave a 1 star! We still went ahead and buy it because it looked very good and we received a great price match from BB for only $39.99. We always had electric kettles - we like to free the stove for other stuff. But we never spent more than $22-25 on a kettle. I like the chrome look - matches all my small appliances like toaster etc but i am just getting tired of smudges and polishing... This one is a nice combi of chrome trim and clear glass, perfect design. This one was a splurge - one of the Christmas presents... When we first saw it, it sat on the Best Buy's shelf looking very inviting.. The LED lights were very very nice - a conversation piece if you have company. it looks stunning at night when the lights are switched off in the room. no plastic smell for me. However, only a week into usage, the inside bottom of the kettle already shows spots (usually that shows only after months or a year of using) on the stainless steel. That's the one star i took away for this reason. I boiled vinegar mixed with water in it and clean with dish soap later to get rid of it. The top cover of the kettle has a push button that pops up as you pushes it. The metal around the button is hot but not the button itself. Once depressed and popped up, it becomes a knob for you to lift the cover up. I usually turn the cover upside down to prevent drips (immediately after boiling) but this can sometimes hurt your hand if not careful as the steam that condenses on the cover is v hot. So, now i just place the cover down without flipping.

I have been using this electric kettle for about a month now and love it. I use it mostly for heating water to make coffee in my french press. It heats quickly and shuts its self off when done.

This appliance boils very quickly and shuts off when the appropriate temp. Is reached. The kettle is nicely balanced when full, and the spout is designed to make pouring without dripping or splashing an easy task. Limescale does build up quickly, but the user manual gives simple instructions to remove it. The blue LED lighting in darker settings is very cool.

Fast, easy way to boil water. Blue LED light shows you that it's on. Easy to clean, though, calcium buildup occurs quickly.

We use this everyday. Water doesn't go into the handle like some other brands so it's really easy to keep clean.

In my opinion it would be best if the hand was not plastic, but instead like a poly/rubber. It get really hot if you don't turn it off before it's fully heated. Would be better with a thermostat too. Other than that it's the best for the price!

Love this little kettle to have in the kitchen. Obviously I boiled water for tea or coffee. I also used it for boiling baby bottles as well. Love the blue light inside. This illuminates the kitchen. Water heats up very fast maybe less then a minute

We have had this kettle for over six months now. It has a great look. When the kettle is on it will light up blue. It will automatically shut off when he achieves boiling point, Regardless of how much water you put in it. The water stays warm for a decent amount of time after boiling. It is great for making oatmeal, broth for cooking, or anything that requires hot water. After about four months he used there was a tiny bit of scale on the bottom. It was easily removed by boiling some vinegar inside. I would highly recommend this product to anybody looking for a kettle for boiling water.

This essentially replaces the stovetop. I can't believe how fast it is, and I imagine that it saves electricity, but that is more difficult to prove. Fast, small footprint, no spills: GREAT product.

Bought it for my wife. It is bit pricey for electric kettle, but blue lightening and build quality is top-notch. I highly recommend this product.

This kettle looks terrific and it boils quickly. Can't ask for anything more.
