I was never a big country fan growing up. It always seemed like a fuddy-duddy type of music. As I got older, and the musical landscape became littered with disposable pop music that focused on image more than substance, the integrity and honesty of genuine classic country became more appealing.
Kacey Musgraves' debut, "Same Trailer Different Park" delivers those beats in spades. She embodies that old-school rebel country sound and does it in subtle and catchy tunes that will stick with you all day. This is the voice of the future of country music, and you'd be crazy not to jump on board.

this, unlike everything else you hear on the radio, is an actual country album. it's quite refreshing to hear a new voice in the genre willing to pick up the baton from the old guard and run with it.
