Could find a left hand opening microwave. This one works well. Only wish the controls were center and not on the rights

Microwave works great and is easy to use. The convection oven is a nice feature as well. It has replaced our toaster oven.

This microwave oven replaced a microwave and toaster oven. It has a broiler, convection settings, as well as the traditional functions of most microwaves. The ONLY negative is that you must consult the instruction manual because there are so many functions.

This oven does it all: microwave, forced air convection to grilling. For a small area it does a great job!

The microwave doesn't have a way to set seconds exactly, it is a dial that adds increments. 5 seconds till 30, then 30 seconds increments after. The auto cook features require having the book handy so you can look up all of the steps, it's not a sensor auto, so a major missing bit of functionality. The convection works good, it's ok for a lot of things, but not great at any one.

This one is going to take a little while to figure out. So many options and settings. My family cannot figure out how to use it haha. I guess we were happy with the simple one we had to replace. It is a nice microwave and I am sure we will love it in time.

This microwave does a great job. I've use both the microwave and convection feature with great results. The microwave is very deep, so make sure you have plenty of counter space behind it. You also want to make sure the outlet is offset from the back of the microwave or you'll need another 3 inches.

I really like being able to use this device rather than my oven when I want to bake or grill. I still have to figure out the best temp and time for a frozen pizza but toast was easy when I had to improvise due to not having a toaster. I like that the door opens down like an oven.

There is little else I can say aside from the fact that this thing has far exceeded my expectations. It was tough to find, and for good reason. In both capacities as a microwave and as a convection oven it checks all the right boxes.

Too "smart" for me

My wife and I selected this microwave because it was the only convection/grill microwave that our store had in stock. We've had a combo microwave before and really liked it, and I emigrated from Europe where they are much more common than just regular microwaves because kitchens are usually much smaller than here in the US.
The microwave itself works great; it was more powerful than our old borrowed microwave (long story) and it seemed to get food hot even faster than it was supposed to according to the times printed on the food packaging. But we almost immediately didn't like that the user interface tries to pretend that it's smart: It has many, many programs to prepare specific kinds of food, but running for a specific time in a certain mode at a certain temperature seems almost an afterthought in the user interface. It would have been much easier if the display would show text instead of just numbers (it took us a while to figure out that it was trying to say "2Sr" or "4Sr" for "2 servings" or "4 servings" instead of "25r"/"45r"). It would have been even better if there would just be a numbered key panel.
The result is a great versatile kitchen appliance that's so complicated that I had to use the manual every time I wanted to use it. And I'm a software engineer!
Besides all this, ours had a problem since Day One: After a few minutes of cooking, it would beep once or twice, then turn itself off, forget what it was doing, and show a blank display. Unfortunately it took us longer than the store-return policy to realize that it wasn't just telling us to turn the food over or something, it was really broken and it wasn't us. Samsung sent out a tech for warranty repairs so many times that I lost count. They replaced everything in the microwave circuit except for the HV transformer, and the problem was still there. Oh, and by the way, none of the techs were able to even start the microwave without our help.
Eventually Samsung authorized an exchange and we got store credit from BestBuy (Thanks Stephanie, you were a great help!). We'll be using it to buy another microwave which is definitely not going to have a rotary encoder as main input device. A number keypad and a one-touch button to add 30 seconds or a minute are a must-have from now on. Whether our next microwave will have convection or grill, and/or whether it will be a Samsung, we don't know yet.

This microwave takes some learning to be sure. I leave the manual by the unit for quick reference. I've even made up some cheat cards to quickly remember my preferences for certain foods. So far i've used every option on this unit and it continues to please and surprise. Worth every penny.
