Great microwave and opened up more space in our kitchen and the company that installed it was in and out very quickly and it looks amazing

Awesome microwave. don't let the slim and compact design give you the impression this is product is anything but an efficient work horse. We love it and it looks great.

We bought this in March 2020 before we needed it, since we had a rebate to use up. It then sat in a box and I eventually installed it myself. But then the house where it was installed sat empty until Feb. 2024. So, it was finally first used then.
This unit is like a GMC Hummer: wrong in so many dimensions.
The button to turn on the hood is right next to the handle to open it. As a result, until you get used to it, you will have to live with the hood coming on every time you use it because you will accidentally turn it on.
The fact that it is a wifi appliance is just plain stupid. Who needs wifi access to a microwave... You can upload timing information and turn the light on, but (for obvious reasons) you can't actually turn the unit on.
The worst part is that within three months (but after the warrantee was up because of the delay in use) the touch screen stopped working. Following suggestions in the instruction manual did not work.
Customer service was horrendous. I started the chat at 12:13pm. After 20 minutes, I was finally given instructions cut and pasted from the generic online suggestions, including "read the instruction manual on how to unlock if it is locked." After 45 minutes I was told that they were going to make me a generous offer. After 55 minutes this tuned out that for $160 more than the unit is at Best Buy we could have it replaced (with Samsung paying for shipping, installation and taxes). After I told them I was going to leave a horrendous review, I finally, at 70 minutes into the chat, ended up chatting with someone who claimed to be a supervisor. They happily started back with "your options are..."
Anyway, after 80 minutes I "hung up"...
The saddest thing is that I just ordered the Samsung replacement unit from Best Buy. Why would I be so stupid? Because I know it will fit into the brackets, etc.
I will stick with another manufacturer in the future. No more Samsung.

Amazing purchase - I didn't know that you could get a mini-microwave that still functions as a hood. It is a great design and still has a big enough capacity for my needs. Highly recommend

First one I got was shattered out of the box. They still installed it and I had to have the potential of broken glass falling at any given moment onto my brand new stove for an entire week. In my opinion they should have not left the broken unit. It was a safety hazard.
The unit itself once i got one that was not damaged is okay. I like the look. It gets three stars for that. I HATE that the controls are on the door. This is such a TERRIBLE design. You are constantly pressing buttons just opening and shutting the thing. AND the door swing is 4" longer than it needs to be because of that as well. When you open it you have to stand WAAAAY back to open it then when you shut it you have to remember how long it is so you don't whack yourself in the head.
