This is by far the best microwave I've purchased, that said, I'm not used to quality appliances. There are many additional features that I haven't used. It comes with a metal rack and plate, which should give the unit more versatility that I haven't explored. If you don't need it, the rack will just take up space.

I also have a Samsung front loading wash machine...This company is about Quality!

We use it mostly for reheating, and it does that just fine- I like the options for cooking fresh v. frozen; melt v. soften, etc. We haven't tried the extra features like grilling, but we're happy so far. The only suggestion for improvement I would make is internal lighting. You can't really see the food inside as it's heating.
